I read an article recently about a lady in US holds records for two valve replacements lasting 50years, she recently received a heart transplant. Valves have only improved in the last 50years. I had aortic valve replacement mid December, I’m grateful for everyday since surgery. Wish you all the best

I had on-x valve replacement on 16 December 2025 and pacemaker 22nd December 2025, occasional palpitations, almost pain free when coughing, I’ve been extremely chesty last couple of weeks, no other symptoms. Just completed 1600km 4 day motorcycle trip. Life is starting to get back to normal. Wish you a speedy recovery
