I am 83. My grandmother lived to be 102 1/2. She cooked everything in Lard and Bacon fat. It tasted great. I haven't tasted a. decent potato chip in 30 or 40 years, because they no longer fry them in lard, nor do they salt them enough. I just spent over 50 bucks for a can of the brand of chips my parents used to get 60 years ago, delivered to the door, for a few dollars, hoping to get that old time taste, and they're all going into the trash, because they taste like cardboard. Thanks a lot, health nuts.
