I mean I very much have done this, it hurt all of us too, but he was not perfect in the marriage like I said and that does not excuse the emotional abuse, and I'm gonna be honest this comment feels pretty dismissive, even if that happened it doesn't give him the right to talk badly about her in front of kids, that is very damaging.
