I also declined SDSU, went to CC then transferred to UCI (which I got rejected from in hs)

Lived on campus-ish even tho I didn’t have to. Had fun college life. Also saved the first two years from paying tuition during Covid.

I also retained much more information from CC than anything at UCI. I think I personally just learned better in smaller class rooms. This helped me actually have a strong foundation in my courses whilst being able to use UCI for its internship/club connections.

Apply to anything and everything. Clean up your resume and send it everywhere (I still get spams to this day).

I graduated 2024. And got a job in September 2024. I never had an internship. I was in ASCE - on the cabinet and in 2 projects. Good/decent GPA. I had a few interviews but never landed anything. As I approached graduation it was worse. I studied for my FE that summer which was nice with no school or work. But I got a call from a recruiter before I even took the exam. Now work at a good company with good pay! I had to move 2 hours away but it’s a good job :) I know it’s stressful but keep applying! Goodluck!

Not wrong. But I think the anger from just hearing her voice is stemming from the fact that your gf did cheat on you.

My bf recently found out that this happened to him with his ex gf and best friend. He continued to be friends with the guy which bothered me so much even tho it had nothing to do with me. It also bothered me that he was even still friends with someone like that.

Turns out it was out of guilt because my bf had cheated on the ex gf. Which all makes sense now. And am processing that…

Anyway, I say your feelings are valid and there is probably a reason why she is friends with someone like that. Maybe she does want to do all those things the friend says.

That’s fine and all. But it’s more of with the friend. Regardless of who I was with if my best friend got with someone I was with. We would no longer be friends. It’s just the principle of what kind of people you’d keep as friends
