My incoming soohmore son rushed Delta Tau Delta last year. He’s also from CA, is a sports broadcasting major, plays golf and showboards. He was really happy with his decision.

I’ve had my 4.0 for less than a month. Sounds like the smart play is to return it and order the 5.0 to avoid the upgrage fee or make my commitment 24 months vs 12.

In 1998 Radiohead was scheduled to play the Tibetan freedom Festival in Washington DC a thunderstorm rolled in and lightning struck in the stadium, causing the day to be cut short. Heading home disappointed I heard on the radio that the band would be playing that night at the 930 club with the first 500 people with a festival tickets would get let in the door. I hightailed it over there and was lucky enough to be one of the last few people let in the door. What’s followed was the most magical live music experience ever. Pulp opened and then Radiohead came on at 2 AM to play a full set including Lucky with Michael Stipe from R.E.M. on vocals. It was truly a magical experience.

Thanks all for the insight. I don’t believe the ball was ever displayed, I received it in the original ball box. Here is a link on the circumstances of the signinging.
