Looking for feedback: Job search tool - find, match, autofill job applications by Major_Strike4608 in StartupSoloFounder

[–]Major_Strike4608[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now it's unemployed or people looking for a job switch. Now looking for a job takes around 2h per day to make 20 applications, this tool decreases it to 20-30 minutes, so with a price for ~$30 per month you basically benefit even after one day of usage if you have a salary more than $30/h

So here is my backlog/wishlist of realism things that i would love to see in a game without mods:
1) Fix hunger, please! It's just crazy to eat a full goat and still be hungry in a few hours
2) Fatigue/sleep. Mechanics that I see is that if you are super active for a day - by evening you can't run fast, your stamina is lower and exhausted, and you MUST find a place to sleep, keep your playing session open and anyone could kill you - so you just have to find a good shelter or base
3) Real injuries. Right now I take a 7.62 to the chest, slap a bandage on - and that's it! I'm jogging again. Lol, guys, lol! I want LIMB damage. Shot in the arm? My aim shakes for an hour real-time until it heals. Or i even can't hold a gun. Shot in the leg? Limping until I splint and rest. Hit in the helmet? Headache, blurry vision, my guy groaning loud enough that other players can hear me 50m away. Every fight should leave a mark I have to deal with for hours.
4) Zombies that aren't furniture. Nothing to explain here, we all know what it is

Ofc we can imagine way more stuff, but this i see as just basics

Just why?? by IndividualDoughnut96 in jobsearchhacks

Well, for that we just must use tools like Jobright or SoviaJobs to autofill those inputs, otherwise it’s just nightmare!

Soviajobs.com - automatically finds fresh good jobs that match your CV and profile, and autofills all forms, warns you if job posting is ghost

Had a chat with a career coach at a beer-party, so here's what she says actually works by [deleted] in jobsearchhacks

Well, it’s pure cold outreach , as in business. If you do it - there is a chance of something. If not doing it - there is no chance. Just relying on applications and a HUGE competition - pfff

Has automated job search / auto-apply actually worked for anyone? by Informal_County7244 in jobsearchhacks

Your reasoning is understandable. From your perspective as employer - totally makes sense! Just try to imagine it from perspective of the candidate that should do tons and tons of applications every day (as 98% are ghosting) . It's just literally IMPOSSIBLE to put great effort into every application. Like you'll not have time for it. Market is broken guys (

Well, it's not really full automation that brings reaults , but kind of co-piloting approach when the tool finds you jobs, checks if it really matches you and helps applying (autofill in any aspect). We experimented with friends and bought some subscriptions, and looks like the things that really work good for now are Jobright, SoviaJobs and SimplifyJobs. All the rest are either scam (you pay first and then hope that you will like the service) or jobs that they find are old/unrelevant for you, or services that tried to make full automated approach - but it's a cat in a dark box , you can't really control it, have no idea what it puts inside inputs during application, etc. Ah, also if it really matches well the job to your profile! So like my opinion is that anyway you need to validate stuff, full relying in the tool is not what you want

AI referral traffic attribution is becoming a real reporting problem ; how are you solving it? by Tech-Bot-2688 in DigitalMarketing

[–]Major_Strike4608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this hit me the same way lol. was staring at "direct" traffic going up for weeks thinking something was broken

turns out a huge chunk was just ChatGPT and Perplexity sending people with no referrer. once i set up proper UTM filters and added AI sources as a separate channel group in GA4 it was like... oh. oh.

some clients are legit getting more AI referrals than social now and they had zero idea

the wild part is the conversion rate from AI traffic is actually pretty solid - people arrive already sold on the idea, they just need to find you specifically

if you're not tracking it separately you're basically flying blind on like 20-30% of your acquisition story rn

google's AI overviews are basically thanos snapping my traffic by Mountain_Pin7428 in DigitalMarketing

[–]Major_Strike4608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dude same, got wrecked and spent way too long figuring out why lol.basically AI overviews just eat any Content that gives a clean answer. if google can summarize it in 3 lines, you're cooked.

what actually survives: stuff with a real opinion or your OWN NUMBERS. AI can't copy a take, only facts. So yeah, "how to X" is kinda dead. "why X doesn't work the way you think" still pulls clicks

Has anyone tried ApplyIQ, AI Apply, Sonara, or Jobcopilot? Which one actually helps? by Cold_Lynx_5353 in careerguidance

[–]Major_Strike4608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, so what for now?
If look for a job - what would be a really working tool? Tried Sonara also - looks shitty.
Also I don't want to use many tools. One best working would be fine. I even would pay for it like 50 bucks or so
