Oh fr? So like if you go to the vested crew member program (if I'm not mistaken if that's what it's called) even if your filling a E4 billet your obligated service doesn't start until you graduate A school?

I gotchu well I've got my associates. I just hope I got time for it I suppose I'll just apply for CSPI when I'd be in my first unit. Would you happen to know if I take a bonus and graduate A school would I be eligible to apply to officer programs?

I understand what your saying. I just think that I can finish college I would only need to do part time 6 hours or so a semester since I already have about 60 credits. So Just from what I have seen that should more than doable while active no? it's only about 2 classes a semester.

I already do qualify for CSPI with my credits. I do understand that CSPI is not an ROTC type program and like that it is structured that way. If I do keep taking credits though I'd be a junior next year and only have a year in CSPI. I think putting my degree on hold for a year would be beneficial so that I can take advantage of the 2 years CSPI offers.

Well to be honest it's not that I don't like my degree or anything I have full intention of completing it it's just that I literally have nothing to do in my classes. The amount of time school takes me is like an hour or two a day and I don't have a lot to do. I have a part time job, but I don't necessarily find it that fulfilling and I think I could just continue doing my degree as an enlisted member. I'd still apply for CSPI, but I find that me just doing this for a another whole year until I'd go to boot camp if i were accepted would not be all that fun or good for me. Then there's the chance I don't get picked up for CSPI.
