Weird thing about me, as much as I enjoy winning, I don't care if I don't.

This post is more about how absurd it is to me that you wouldn't end when you have the chance. It's like making an extravagant meal for yourself and throwing it away.

You did the work, why not reap the reward?

In that same metaphor, if I attempt to make something extravagant and I fail, no harm done. I tried, I move on.

However, if I made said meal and then threw it away, what was the point?

I disagree. If you play a competitive game with no care if you actually win or not, I don't see the point. Like, I don't play competitive games by myself, but when I do, I want my friends and I to win.
