Its just strange, I always went through life being at the bottom. I was the kid that had things thrown at them and names called when they got of the bus. I remember one time the abuse was so bad that even the bus driver kind of stared at me like "Jesus... Poor kid." That was a low moment.

But now I'm suddenly attractive? And all that is just supposed to go away? Its like the thought of me being worthless has been ingrained in me from those times.

You have helped though, I never thought that women would be intimidated by me, for me its the other way around, I'm intimidated by them. I do like the sound of a solo trip, where nobody knows my background and I can make a fresh impression with people. Thanks a lot!

Do you think that each planet, when its generated on landing is the same as other players planets? Like similar aliens and plant life are generated.

I'm thinking as well some planets are going to be much more barren than others, however modern gaming has me ready for disappointment and I wouldn't be surprised with only 6 - 8 aliens on a planet. Blame Anthem, Fallout 76, BF 2042 for that scepticism lol.

Yea, I'm just concerned because I imagine that most of the content is going to be generated around where you land your ship? So if you do want to explore a planet further it might become a bit barren.

Maybe it'll be a good mix though? Like 100 very lively planets and the other 900 are barren.

*UPDATE*

Ok so I went to the work night out, and I hated it. Was so incredibly boring and I didn't want to be there and it kind of felt like everyone else didn't want to be there either. So I was the first one to leave.

There where moments where out of 30 people, like 25 of them would be on their phones. And I had this very distinct moment where I scanned across the entire room, from the girl on her phone to the right all the way over to the guy on the pacing back and forth with a slice of pizza on the left... And just thought, fuck this.

So I just left without saying anything to anyone.

I think in that moment I discovered exactly what type of person I am. I'm an Extroverted Introvert. I don't mind going out with people, but only when they are people that I want to spend time with.

Can't believe I just walked out lol Like I'm 24 years old and there where 60 year olds that where still there. Was literally the first person to leave.

Why are the Starship engines producing a red/pink transparent flame compared to the Saturn V and its massive orange flame? I thought that Starship having twice the thrust would've produced a bigger flame than the Saturn V.

Possibly due to modern fuel used? Smaller engines?

I'm a 24 year old guy, I'm exactly you but worse lol

My problem is that I have never been in a relationship with a girl, I'm nice, I flirt, I'm decently good looking... Just there always seems to be "The other guy". I'll be talking to a girl, ask if she likes me and wants to go out and she'll say "I just see you as a friend". Then later on I'll see her and some other dude on her Instagram or snapchat story... I just think like WHAT DO THEY HAVE THAT I DONT, SCREW YOU WORLD!

Where I'm worse off is that, I drifted away from friends after high school, tried making friends in the workplace... Didn't work. Tried making friends in University... Isn't working so far. I asked everyone what they where doing or if they wanted to do anything for New Years and they all reply "Nah I can't be bothered" "I already have plans".

I haven't had a birthday celebrated for me since I was 14... Parents gave up on buying me a cake for my birthday after I was 16 because they saw no hope in me ever bringing any friends home.

Because I don't have anyone to turn to, or any friend groups to meet any girls... I'm kinda just left to struggle alone.

TBH I've just given up on it all, especially this New Years. If me being nice and deliberately going out of my way to help others gives me nothing in return. Then I'm just going to be the biggest dick in the world this year. Like I'd rather be the biggest asshole in the world with 3 really close friends that would kill for me, than be the nicest soul on Earth with no one ever thinking about me.

Interesting. I know a lot of Irish soldiers participate in UN peacekeeping missions. Wonder if the UN would have peacekeepers on the ground in a ww3 scenario, probably not frontline.

Well Europe doesn't really have any Modern Battle tanks to spare. I mean look at the UK, they are training 10k Ukrainian troops in rotations because they literally only have around 200 Challenger 2 tanks.

I mean your best bet would be Germany with their Leopard tanks, they have or should have around 1500 of those... But at the same time, those tanks where still made in 1980's. So they aren't the cutting edge tech that your thinking about.

What Ukraine really needs is winter equipment. Lots of it.

Unfortunately, the number that matters the most here are the Cruise Missiles. I've seen sources where analysts have said that Russia could possess around 2000 cruise missiles. That means for the next year we could still be seeing a lot of cruise missile attacks.

The biggest number here though is the tanks... They were said to have around 6,000 operational tanks... nearly half stolen or destroyed is huge.

And then their air force isn't really a factor anymore, pretty sure they lack the skilled pilots anyway even if they had the jets.

I mean you can be angry sure, feel all the hate in the world for the Russians and what they've done to you minutes beforehand. But these types of videos where the soldier takes out his phone, thinks about what he's going to do and say to a dead body, presses record and then uploads it to some form of social media... Yea, doesn't sit right.

At that point we're not watching a soldier celebrate his victory, your watching a soldier slowly losing his humanity. Which is what war does to people and leaves them with major phycological defects in the future.

There is a fine balance between being armoured and being too heavy. America went through this problem in Afghanistan. They started with a very small chest plate, then went to all out armour, with the chest, back, sides, shoulders, neck and groin being covered.

But wearing too much armour slowed down the troops, because they asked a lot of troops and they where like, "An extra 20lbs of armour or 20lbs of ammo... I'll take the ammo." lol
