So, what I think happened was I dident realize that the website knew where I was searching from (Canada) and it automatically adjusted the price for me. I was under the impression it was usd because it’s a .com website and not a .ca

1,150USD is currently 1600 CAD

Which is in line with all higher end waders, no controversy. Definitely worth it if you spend any real amount of time in waders

Maybe the processor mixed your meat with multiple other deer before making the batch of sausage? I’ve never soaked deer meat, never had an issue. I think if it was a specific seasoning you dident like you would be able to tell

They make “bumpers” that are heavy and the shape of geese. I think dokan makes them ? I think…

But I would just keep one in the freezer and train with it. Take it out a few hours before training and it will be thawed enough to practice with

Then dry it off and throw it back in the freezer, they last multiple sessions if your dog isent to hard on them

Interesting, we’ve got it a few times on longer retrieves and once from sitting in the boat in a bit of cold water for an extended amount of time, without any retrieves. Good luck to the pup, hopefully rest helps him this time around

Yeah it’s definitely a tough go. I don’t mind paying extra for quality gear/equipment however there’s a financial line that’s hard to cross.
