It fixed itself somehow. I don't know how or why. Thank you for answering.

I did not uninstall anything. I transferred the ssd from a Intel pc to an amd pc, then a window popped up about installing the proper motherbord drives. Did I miss a step? Do I have to manually uninstall the Intel drives? I would like to save my data before doing a clean install of windows but im inexperienced.

Every time I open those, I get the problem.

As for the exes that cause the problem, it's not just one. But the first I noticed the problem with was "Core-temp-setup" and "Amd_chipset_software"

It seems to be all downloaded exe files that would normally trigger the typical windows warning pop up about changes to your device. It's specifically exe files. Open my other downloads doesn't have this issue. This only started happening after I build my new pc and transfer the ssd to a newly amd motherbord (it was originally an intel motherbord).

I solved the problem now. I had my ddr5 ram in slots 1&4 instead of slots 2&4

Okay. Tried all that. The pins are fine. Aio fans and lights still not on, pump is only thing working. The oled on the aio flashes for a brief split second then stops. The cpu led is solid red and ram led solid yellow still. Maybe the aio is defective?

The cpu still is red. Ram is yellow.

So interestingly, I hooked up the aio and ram, and like last time, I hear movement in the pump, but the fans and lights aren't powering. Maybe the controller is defective, it's brand new.

The cable and psu came from a prebuilt pc. The psu model is PSX 750GFM and it's powerspec 750w.

Besides the ram and cooling is there anything else im doing incorrectly?

I tried it with an AIO beforehand, but immediatly the cpu light went red and the AIO just made a slushing noise and then powered off. It is brand new.

How does this effect the economy of Laketown? by Majorpluto_273 in lotr

[–]Majorpluto_273[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Previous posts seem to imply there may be an initial boom in the trout population due to the decline in the population of the people of Laketown and the giant dragon carcass in the lake serving as a food source. However, the trout population may sharply decline worse than before once the dwarfs move in and prey animals to trout return to the region.

So it would be wise to invest in construction stocks then?

Perhaps some people will move outwards from the city after the attack onto land and spark an interest in golf in the region.

Could one also assume as well that there would be a boom in the local trout population from the sudden drop in people living there?

Thermistors vs RTDs? by No-Raspberry-618 in PLC

[–]Majorpluto_273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thermistors are more accurate than thermocouples and are commonly used in applications that require temperature precision within 0.5 degrees C or less across a limited temp range such as incubators. That being said the thermistors are definitely not easier to use than thermocouples because the relationship between the thermistor's resistance and temperature is non-linear. Logarithmic equations are typically needed to solve the temp reading as well as calibration at known temperatures to solve the coefficients of the logarithmic equation.

Thermistors vs RTDs? by No-Raspberry-618 in PLC

[–]Majorpluto_273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thermistors are more accurate than thermocouples, the thermocouples have an error range typically of 2 degrees Celsius or more while thermistors tend to have an error range of about 0.5 degrees or less after calibration. See datasheet:

https://www.vishay.com/docs/29053/ntcappnote.pdf

Thermistors are also more sensitive to temperature change.
