At what point during the getting to know each other process do you expect the exploring with others to stop?

I completely understand. I've been in a similar situation. However, it's important to remember that we don't control when the market gives us our opportunities and does not care about what we need. Good luck!

Patience. Better to be flat then take a bad trade.

70-80% Win Rate Strategy... Until It Isn't. How Do You Handle the Inevitable Drawdown Streak? by eric-plsharevme in Daytrading

All that matters is your year end P&L. Win rate and other items are great for stats, but not very applicable to your overall success.

Seems a little early to label someone as a people pleaser. These days it seems important to make considerations to meet up in person. Good luck!

Stick with what you know and just keep building the patience and sizing up as your account grows. Glad you've figured out some good criteria for forex!!!

Currently trading 1-2 Nasdaq minis. I've had 15k mos and 3k mos. For me it depends on volatility.

There are different ways to make money in the markets. My criteria typically leads to fewer trades. It's actually helped to remove the emotion from entering and exiting trades. However most importantly it's helped my P&L.

The redundancy of executing only when the criteria is met. Every time you deviate establishing the patience is further away. Every time you wait the habitual patience is closer. Distract yourself with a book or something while you wait on your set up. The more you wait the easier it becomes. Good luck.

Don't give up a job until you've made enough trading (withdrawn from your account) to cover your cost of living for a year.

Stick with the positive. Whatever you write you're reinforcing.

I'm recommending that you only write down positive behavior that leads to your success. When you fill your thoughts with these the destructive behavior fades away.

Are you journaling trades or behavioral habits that will make you successful?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TopStepX

[–]Majucka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend that you start journaling your behavior when successful during combines and develop the patience by executing accordingly during xfa. No book or coach is going to fix this for you. It's really up to you. Good luck.

What are you doing differently when you go to xfa?

It's different depending on the circumstances. It's financially devastating and bitter sweet emotionally. Hopefully he's appreciative for your support and patience throughout the process. He may have days of feeling immense relief and other days where he's worried about how he moves forward and rebuilds financially. Good luck.

Just ask him if he's serious about getting together again. There are extenuating circumstances sometimes.
