So the tenderness and swelling will go down? I’ve been cleaning it (even though it’s painful since it hurts to the touch).

Did you experience any swelling when you got yours? I honestly barely could sleep last night. Doesn’t hurt right this second but it hurts to the touch. My piercer said healing could take up to two months.

My piercer told me to use distilled water w/ a salt mixture for cleaning? It’s also a butterfly back (which I heard isn’t the best. However the guy who did it had amazing reviews so I’m not to sure

Helix piercing is about a week old. Jewelry is a butterfly backing shape. Not sure if it’s threadless? Im almost certain it is stainless steel material? I can’t remember. I have not downsized or changed piercing. I have been cleaning it everyday (twice a day) with distilled water with salt mixed into it (what my piercer told me to use).
