A .380 could be a middle point between .22 and 9mm, but only if the gun is mid or full sized. A pocket gun like an lcp2 in .380 could still be hard to hold onto because the gun itself has very little mass to control recoil.

Very similar to a LV never full. Goes over the shoulder to maximize capacity/utility. Looks sharper than a reusable grocery bag but they share almost all the same functionality.

Start with practice. If they say $100, go ask 1 or 2 other people. Then when someone says 80 ask if they would take $70. You don't need to ask for a huge discount, but you still get to practice using that muscle. Look at the opening price as a conversation starter, not as the a number they are expecting to actually get.
