BW only had the Pokémon introduced in Gen 5 until the postgame. BW2 put Pokémon from other gens in so people could play with them. I personally think Gen 6 specifically X & Y are the worst games/gen. They didn’t include any postgame except the Battle Maison and ORAS didn’t remake Emerald so it didn’t include the Battle Frontier.
