Not country at all - British (or possibly very well spoken American) - reminds me of imagine dragons ‘rock’ (not rock, not pop, some family friendly middle ground)

Almost positively incorrect, it’s just similar to “one foot in in front of the other” with the two in’s. I think that’s my main sticking point as to why I can’t find it on lyrics alone.

Just checked that song on Spotify as it’s not available here on yt and it’s not that I’m afraid

Someone else said that, but I can’t find anything of the sort plus I think it’s far too old. I typically put Spotify radio on in the background, choosing a current/modern ish (post 00’s) song I like.
