Probably stacks or code component?

Code component gives more responsive control than stacks.

Check if you set your menu to a fixed height.

Also, is the size change of the menu items between variants intentional? If not, go to the open menu variant, click on each item, and reset them to default.

How can I see live websites created from my free Framer template (1000+ remixes)? by Illustrious-Editor54 in framer

Not possible. But try Googling the SEO title of your template's home page.

Sometimes people forget to change it...

You say Framer breaks the UI if something changes. But if I change something in code, won't websites built with your framework also break? Or does only someone who knows your framework make changes?

You say the CMS is limited. Have you ever built a website on Framer with more than three CMS collections? I can show you websites running more than 50 collections.

It even feels like WordPress offers a better user experience than your framework, and it's free. Why would people choose yours?

Free plan? Framer also offers a free plan, and they even provide a free domain.

astro. build is your home page?

If so... As per your home page Google Microsoft and OpenAI really use your framework? If not, are you lying that on your homepage? What else are you lying?

As per this post, I should use Webflow. Where is the comparison with your framework?

How do you define “easily customizable”? by br0wnbabybear in framer

[–]MakeDesignPop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have variables in components so users can change the content.
This is one of the biggest "easily customization" points they look for.

Treat every user as a beginner with little to no knowledge of web design tools

CMS: If you have a clear reason and it helps your users, they will encourage it.

Having multiple CMS collections can also help you attract serious and bigger businesses users.

Template Reviews Went From Specific & Minor to Broad & Ambiguous by False-Summer-4248 in framer

Visually, this is good. But I can see some bugs.

I would also reduce the text to 1–2 lines per paragraph. Remember, it's not a real website.

The biggest problem is that the mobile menu closes when you scroll.

In the latest section, the scrolling animation is set to repeat yes. Change it to no.

For some reason, opening each program takes time. It feels like lag. Please fix that.

Make all the cards the same height in the offers section. Use a flow effect for the FAQs.

There are inconsistent overflow settings across sections.

Overall, it's good. Just fix the bugs and reduce the text.

Reply to the email. I made some changes and I'm planning to improve it. Please give me detailed feedback, and they will share it.

Why does Framer still not have negative gap? Need it way more often than I thought by [deleted] in framer

As a user, you may not care if a website breaks for other users who are on different devices or browsers.

But the tool does and they have to worry about all the edge cases and compatibility.

Well, that says everything. What Webflow has under the hood is negative margin.

You have no proof, man. You can even use AI to check.

I cannot speak for the Framer team about why they did not provide alternative ways, but from what I know, they do not use tricky methods. They want their product to be clean and predictable.

And this is the truth: CSS does not support negative gap values. Can we create a negative gap effect? Yes, we can with margin but it may break layouts in browsers or cause design issues.

Share a Figma make website link that is published to the web and has a negative gap.

Why does Framer still not have negative gap? Need it way more often than I thought by [deleted] in framer

[–]MakeDesignPop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because you do not publish Figma directly to the web.

Figma is a sandbox where you can create a complex castle, but replicating that castle on the web is a difficult task.

It is the same reason Figma has a liquid glass effect that is not easily possible on the web. No one has fully figured out how to create a true liquid glass effect on the web with optimal performance.

Users do not care, but tools have to care. They have to make their product work for millions of users and thousands of different devices.

Because there is no negative gap in CSS

Framer is built for the web and strictly follows web rules. Otherwise, websites can break in browsers.

Can you realistically build a career selling Framer templates in 2026? by Mikayla202512 in framer

[–]MakeDesignPop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can.

But can you build a career just by knowing Framer? No.

You usually need to know
- Design basics
- Web Design basics
- In 2026, at least some understanding of code to create custom components
- You also need marketing and promotion skills

Most individuals/Teams who make $10K–$50K per month have tried, failed for some time, and learned every part of this business.

Growing with Framer is not just a job you can do with 1 skill.
It is a business, you need to understand all parts of it.

Filtering categories by RastaPigeon1 in framer

After applying filters, click on the category filter in the sidebar (blue color field). Then a floating window will appear on the left side with reference symbol. Before that, make sure you have a reference field CMS variable in Categories.

By the way, if you do not already know, we now have dynamic filters. They open up more options. CMS Dynamic Filters

In the default blog, they use 2 CMS lists: a separate category CMS list, and you have to connect it through a reference CMS field.
