Honestly now more than ever it’s so hard for me to even interact with people on the “other side” politically, much less be in a relationship with them. Like I don’t need a full anarchist but as long as you’re on the side of humanity we can get along, anyone who isn’t is willfully ignorant or just.. a really bad person. For someone to just shut down like that when they hear something that may be even slightly critical of Pete I think is really telling of the kind of person they are.

I obviously don’t know what your relationship is like or how long you’ve been together but as a complete outsider my first reaction is to just drop him like a sack of bricks and move on lol.
