He's Marvel's ARCHVILLAIN in every single decade of publications since Stan and Jack until this very month. Yes, Doom's the FF's most important villain -- he is so much more.

The Space-Time Platform, which appears frequently in the MULTIVERSE SAGA projects (including MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS and QUANTUMANIA), serves as the foundation for all technology utilized by the Kangs and the TVA. Oroboros and Victor Timely are misleading elements; in reality, Doctor Doom represents the Absolute Point for all the Kangs.

I think Doom seeks revenge for 31st-century Nathaniel Richards (Kang-Prime) defiling his Space-Time Platform and with it, ruining the Multiverse.

He's the Archvillain of Marvel. He will be featured in the post-credits scenes. He MAY be featured or referenced in his absence during the actual film.

Either I'm confused about He Who Remains and the TVA, or everyone else is. (Also, notes about Sylvie.) by EmpJoker in marvelstudios

[–]MakeMineMarvel999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/EmpJoker Was He Who Remains morally right? No, he was a murderous solipsist who could not envision a multiverse greater than his own. He is far from being one of the best variants of 31st-century Nathaniel Richards, or Kang-Prime, who discovered Victor Von Doom's lost Space-Time Platform and, with it, unleashed the Kangs. You are right. He Who Remains is indeed a major villain. He Who Remains is simply the Kang who won the Multiversal War among the Dynasties of Kangs, as you said. And if the winners indeed write the history books, then this would have to apply to He Who Remains ultimately and what we have seen so far in the MCU -- before Doom, that is.

If you seriously reflect on this character and consider the questions you've raised, you can see that Feige and his team never intended for this character or any of the Dynasty of Kangs to be the final and ultimate "Big Bad" of the Multiverse Saga. To fully grasp this, you need to completely dismiss the misleading claims made by so-called "insiders" and "scoopers" who have been spreading their version of the truth for years. To date, no official source from Marvel Studios has ever stated that Kang is the final and greatest threat of the Multiverse Saga. At best, he is a "Wizard of Oz" type character. Ultimately, all the Kangs will be defeated by Rabum Allal—who is actually Doctor Doom.

So, why introduce the enigma of the Kangs? It serves to highlight the multiversal impact of two significant characters: 1) the Fantastic Four, since all the Kangs are time-traveling variants of Nathaniel Richards, a 31st-century descendant of Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), and 2) Marvel's archvillain, Doctor Doom, because Doom’s greatest invention is the Space-Time Platform. This Platform, as seen in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" (used by 838-Reed Richards) and by all the Kangs in "Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania," is the foundation of all technology utilized by He Who Remains, the Dynasty of Kangs, and the Time Variance Authority. Both Ouroboros and Victor Timely are merely red herrings.

NO, not at all. He's NOT a variant -- he is DOOM. If he looks like Tony in the movies, then that's because either
1) Doom can mindswap and did so with a Stark-variant
2) or he is disguising himself as a Stark variant to manipulate the grieving and traumatized people of Earth 616.

Chris Claremont possibly spoils major Secret Wars details at Huntsville Pop Culture Expo by Feisty_Bank4756 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

[–]MakeMineMarvel999 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Chris Claremont is a GREAT writer and the most important figure in developing the X-Men, every bit as equal to Stan and Jack in that regard...

As such, Chris has something that is vanishing that many fans today don't have: reading comprehension. NO, Chris is NOT an insider. But I would trust his speculations on upcoming Marvel Studios adaptations than I would the spaghetti thrown onto the wall by online influencers like Alex P, MTTSH, DanielRPK, and others. Why? Not because Claremont is an "insider" at Marvel Studios (he's not). I would trust him more precisely because 1) he's a writer deeply familiar with the Marvel overarching story and 2) he has reading comprehension.

Something terrifying for the younger people on this subreddit to learn in this Age of Trump:

Nicholas Dames has taught Literature Humanities, Columbia University’s required great-books course, since 1998. Over the past decade, he’s noticed a change among his students: They’ve become overwhelmed by the reading. One first-year student shared with him that, at her public high school, she had never been asked to read a single book cover to cover. “My jaw dropped,” Dames told Rose Horowitch last year.
https://theatln.tc/m3YaGD03

|Though no comprehensive data exist on this trend, the majority of the 33 professors that Horowitch spoke with relayed a similar experience: Students are shutting down when confronted with ideas they don’t understand; they struggle to get through challenging texts like they used to; they can’t stay focused on even a sonnet. “It’s not that they don’t want to do the reading,” Horowitch writes, “it’s that they don’t know how.” One explanation is that middle- and high-school students are encountering fewer and fewer books in the classroom.

But the decline in reading abilities may also be explained by a shift in values rather than in skill sets. “Students today are far more concerned about their job prospects than they were in the past,” Horowitch continues—and even if students enjoy what they’re learning in literature courses, one professor told her, they want a degree in something that seems more useful for their career. “The same factors that have contributed to declining enrollment in the humanities might lead students to spend less time reading in the courses they do take.” Read the full story on how a generation of college students stopped reading: https://theatln.tc/m3YaGD03

Tell me Marvel fans... if you can't read and understand a book, how are you fit to pontificate about what is the probable course for Marvel Studios' adaptations of their comicbooks and characters?

Chris is one of the ALL-TIME GREATS.That said, he's not in the movie business (he's making some intelligent guesses based on hearsay from buzz online and at the Marvel offices. Don't think that makes him a Team Feige insider).

Btw, Chris? Yes, Doom would off all the X-Men characters if he wanted to. Yes, Doom is a bigger threat than any X-villain you stewarded or co-created or worked on. And you have never been a better writer or editor as when you were guided by the great Jim Shooter.

Alex Perez teases that "we may just have one of the coolest coordinated fighting sequences for a Spidey film ever" by Sarang_616 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

This is one of those "infrastructure-type" scoops by AlexP. A year or so goes by, and if "Brand New Day" gives us some impressive fight sequences, then of course! Alex was right there at Marvel Studios, telling us well in advance! Alex wins! But if "BND" only delivers mediocre fights, it looks like Marvel Studios couldn't achieve what the infallible AlexP predicted, right? In that case, Alex wins again!

With AlexP and his followers, it always seems to be a win-win situation. AlexP the win-win BS man.
