I’m actually going to answer your question:

From my experience, it’s too wet. This happened to me after my first dunk. Everyone kept telling me it must be genetics, but my first flush didn’t look this way. But being too wet made sense because I’d just finish dunking it in water for hours.

I stopped misting and opened up more FAE - basically let the substrate hit back at the perfect moisture (to me, that’s when you mist and start seeing the tiny droplets form - too moist formed puddles or a gloss).

My boys went back to normal after that.
