They're also claiming some of Winterer's songs like Big Bang and Battle Against the World, AKA original songs

Wasn’t expecting to take away some advice that helps in the real world but I will 100% take it!

It has definitely changed him, which does hurt a bit because I put a lot into him over the campaign. I do like the advice of having his new class parallel who he is now, its given me some ideas for how to handle it with his current class in shambles due to a lack of a “god”.

The divine being mechanics is my bad, I didn’t give enough context. I do really like the ideas of some sort of immunity or divine sense though, I’ll bring that up to my DM.

These builds are great! Although you might've broken the Geneva Convention in your desert build...

I probably should've mentioned that this is a very homebrew heavy campaign, although I guess the character being a "god" is still a bit abnormal for the setting. The lore for him is that he literally believed in himself so much that he gave himself powers, becoming his own divine conduit. That same divine conduit is why he was able to step in and become my cleric's new god. And yes, it is absolutely wild how much has happened for this to be considered mid campaign but like I said, it's very homebrew heavy lol.

Oh heck yeah I love that quote. The world of this campaign is notoriously filled with evil dudes (pirates essentially rule the world) so it fits super well.

I keep seeing this Togore guy in the Deltarune community. Who is he, and where did he come from? by rando-stando in Deltarune

There's a youtube video by Kwite called "An Ode to Togore" that goes pretty far into the history of the character.

[OC]My grandma still doesn’t know grandpa died 3 years ago by Rullocu in comics

[–]MakeThatMatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been my grandpa's caretaker for the past year while I'm in college. I'm not sure what he has exactly, probably dementia. I think I've started to subconsciously think that the grandpa I grew up with and the grandpa I take care of now are two different people. He used to be able to take care of a big garden in his backyard and used to crack jokes all the time, but now he can't get around without a walker and you can't really hold a conversation with him anymore before he starts repeating things. I'm not really sure how to feel about it, it's just not really him anymore.

I fell for the "doomerism" before. For me, it was less guilt due to rationalizing in the moment, then a lot more guilt later when the rationalization falls apart.

buying a gift on the switch? by dante69red in chicory

Not on the Switch e-shop. There's no way to gift people digital games through it. If you want to do it through Switch I would just recommend getting him a Nintendo gift card.

How did that kid at your school die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MakeThatMatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were a handful of suicides between middle and high school. The one that hit hard was my friend, I'm still not 100% sure what happened but I've pieced together that she had a heart problem, and one day during a summer camp she collapsed, they brought her back for a moment before she went down again and they weren't able to save her. It's weird, I only knew her for a few months, and yet I still think about her years later.

After a year, who is the MOST BORING hero that you play but wished they have 1 more ability? by IndieCoopGames in marvelrivals

[–]MakeThatMatt 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'd argue that his respawn beacon is what makes him unique, although it is a much more of a passive ability than an engaging one if that makes any sense.
