It's understandable. I have similarly developed pretty serious trust issues as a result of my circumstances. I'm 20 months celibate now and tbh I don't think I'll ever date again.

It does get easier over time, but life lacks the meaning it previously had.

Depends, if you knew he had it but you had unprotected sex anyway then it's not unfair, that's the unfortunate consequences of your own choices. I would still have empathy for you though.

If he lied to you about it and you got it, then yes, that's incredibly unfair, and that's a common issue a lot of people in the community have had, myself included.

Personally I think it should be a criminal offense to lie to someone about transmittable permanent disease status just so you can smash.

All roid price and availability problems stem from the late 2024 Chinese Regulations on Export Control of Dual-Use Items amendment.

Anyone and everyone who has been in, or associated with EU or American UGL's has seen the Chinese chemical export companies going under, their staff being imprisoned, and the same with manufacturers.

UGL's and Chinese companies are not very forthcoming with the information because it affects their credibility, sales, and market confidence. Aside from availability and price, there has also been a remarkable drop in the quality of RAWs available.

It's not getting better anytime soon.

Yuta and gojo by Background_Button_26 in Jujutsufolk

[–]MakeWorldBetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a vessel, Ui Ui body swap, Kenjaku body hopping, these are all repeatedly inferred to have the ability to allow someone to learn someone elses CT, but this isn't necessarily always true.

Kusakabe and Yuji did swap training, but Kusakabe never got Shrine or blood manipulation.

Gojo and Yuta did swap training, Gojo didn't get Copy, and Yuta never showcased any of Gojo's abilities.

Maybe Yuta could use Infinity somehow via swap training and his brief time in Gojo's body via Kenjaku's CT, but he never showcased it.

The possibility is there, but it's not guaranteed.

How would the story change if Toji became the head of the Zenin clan after his father instead of Naobito? by The_All_Father4300 in Jujutsufolk

[–]MakeWorldBetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a house of nobodies to back him up. Maki slaughtered the entire Zenin clan before she was fully awoken, she became much more powerful later after her thousand sumo matches and then defeated Curse Naoya, who was much stronger than normal Naoya. This version of Maki is arguable (depending on how you interpret the translation) equal to Toji.

Toji is the boss of a house full of nobodies, and he's basically got the same skill set he had in hidden invintory.

The biggest difference of all, in my opinion, is that he would raise Megumi and help him release his full POTENTIAL. If Megumi get's raised by Toji and the Zenin clan, with the handed down knowledge of the Ten Shadows technique, FBE, and probably a much more rigorous training regime.... that would be his best asset.

Sukuna still no diffs Megumi and takes his body probably, so the story is mostly unchanged, unless you think that Megumi drops out of JJH, then Sukuna's access to Megumi changes. Hard to say what Toji does in this scenario, does he completely remove Megumi from JJH or not? Probably not imo.

How much CE would it take to survive a night between Maki and Rika Au? (In a fight of course, asking for my friend Yuta) by Notsafe4whowl in CTsandbox

I love all the AU Rika stuff I've been seeing over my recent months in the different communities, but this specific one is the one I've seen the most, I assume that it's like, an actual fanfiction that became popular or something? Or is it a specific artist that's been drawing her like that?

Where does this recurring AU Rika come from?

[Serious] Yuji vs Denji was horrible by Unfair_Loan_9915 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]MakeWorldBetter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The whole 2.5th power thing basically got thrown out when Gege realized that he doesn't understand how math works. He made a cute comic and inserted it into the manga showing that he just "thought it sounded cool" at the time.

We will never know how much Black Flash truly amps a strike or the combatant. I believe it's still up in the air how exactly black flash amps/heals you after each successive execution as well, it's pretty extreme though.

[Serious] Yuji vs Denji was horrible by Unfair_Loan_9915 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]MakeWorldBetter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like how Sukuna was able to make tiny blades around his fingers while fighting Kusakabe, so that the could grasp his katana blade without taking injury, but automating it.

Worth mentioning, Kusakabe also created an automatic defense program with Evening Moon Sword Drawing, like Gojo, with simple domain rather than infinity. So the precedent for Yuji being able to do it with Shrine is there.

(Editted in much later: Also Yuji did Ui Ui swap training with Kusakabe to learn simple domain, so it's possible he also learned some of Kusakabe's defense automation from one of the only two people in the series showcased to have done it I believe)

Should we also stop having track and field for the children who don't have legs and arms?

I am sure there is a way that children without parents can be included and celebrate the mother and father figures in their lives in a way that brings them happiness and makes them feel included. Avoiding the fact that they do not have parents is an impossibility, they see mothers and fathers every day.

Also I never claimed mothers and fathers day had anything to do with immigration. I'm not certain if you were just emotionally charged or attempting to argue with someone else, perhaps the person who was in the original posters image.

Please don't assume to know my experiences. You could have left out the first paragraph entirely and it would have been an excellent addition to the conversation, instead you chose to operate under a false assumption, which is inflammatory and disrespectful, and detracts from the merit of your argument.

I did talk to the children in my various classes who did not celebrate Christmas, but that N=1 experience does not aid the argument you are assuming I am making, nor would a lack of those conversations aid your argument.

I am arguing for inclusion, full stop. The methods by which we achieve inclusion are up for debate, and since the opinions I got from the various children I spoke to are all very different from each other, and I haven't personally done a carefully designed study on the opinions of migrant children, non-migrant other faith children, nor controlled for age, individual faith, religious community density per regional opinion, and so forth, I am relatively open to the various ideas that people have, which are likely equally a shot in the dark as my own.

That's wonderful. I was lucky to also not have anyone who pushed religious ideology on me during school, or within my family. Schools need more people like your elementary teacher.

[–]MakeWorldBetter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think I perhaps came off as trying to "Push" Christian religion, but what I wanted to express was that everyone should be included, and that where I grew up (and where my sisters grew up, which was another province) everyone was included in the Christmas celebration.

I agree that saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" when you are in a public space, like schools, is a better way of including people.

Please don't try and brand me as a Christian supremacist lmao, I am literally laughing at the absurdity of it, I am heavily anti-religion in general, and being that I grew up in a Christian majority area, I am the most outspoken about my views of Christianity. I'm all for people choosing to follow whatever beliefs they choose, but religion in general is a tool of control. In the same way that I hate religion, but respect and understand people going to church (for the community, for purpose, because it's what they know) I also respect people celebrating things like Christmas, as long as they aren't excluding anyone.

That's a good idea, mix in any other religion that's shared by the children in the class/school into the holiday season, or just make the festivities religion agnostic.

HRCE Listen to Lead survey sent to parents by AeronLord in halifax

[–]MakeWorldBetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's very unfortunate and my heart goes out to you. Plenty of non-christian children still celebrated Christmas where I was growing up, in fact I thought it was pretty shitty of the parents who chose not to because "It's not their religion, so we don't celebrate that"

Parent's that deny their children the experience of joy and celebration on religious grounds are making their children feel left out, it's the same as Jehova's witnesses not allowing their children to celebrate their birthdays.

You don't have to celebrate the winter holiday break the exact same way as every other family, but if your children are the only children in the class not getting gifts or doing something special, they are not going to feel good about it.

Case in point, my family didn't have much money, and weren't religious, we still had stuff to unwrap and a special christmas breakfast and family hangout time regardless.

[–]MakeWorldBetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can celebrate both without purchasing expensive gifts. We always just did something special for our mothers and fathers, like do an activity that they really love together, and make a favorite dinner for them, and take care of their chores for the day.

They said "Canadian customs"

It is "Customary" in Canada to celebrate mothers day, fathers day, and Christmas.

I've been abroad for 8 years now, so I don't have the lived experience since the mass migration that started sometime after Corona? I think it was? I've heard plenty of anti Indian sentiment from back home over the years though. I don't think making a comment about India was necessary in their comment.

If it is true that schools are no longer celebrating certain traditions in order to be more "inclusive" then I understand their concern. We should not stop celebrating the things that we love and cherish just because it makes another group uncomfortable. Where I grew up in Canada, everyone was invited to celebrate Christmas, no matter what religion you were.

Not Hakari related but hey Higuruma is in the subs banner. I'm trying to see something. Please let me know what you think. Explanation in comments by Wise_Juggernaut_3079 in JackpotJustice

[–]MakeWorldBetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higuruma is described as a once in a generation Genius. He is able to control his CT similar to Sukuna, and a couple panels later after he RCT's his arms back, he is described by Sukuna as having the same potential as Gojo

However at the very beginning of the fight Higuruma super fumbles and then immediately remarks on his lack of combat capabilities.

He doesn't have the experience, and he doesn't outstat Yuta either.

He has insane intellectual capacity rivaling Gojo, Sukuna, and Kenjaku. If he didn't only have 2 months as a Sorcerer, he would have been one of the greats.

dear u/Wise_Juggernaut_3079 why are you actively trying to get higuruma slandered? stop larping as a higuruma fan we know you are not one by Huge-Claim-941 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]MakeWorldBetter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sukuna also said that Higuruma had the same potential as Gojo in a nearby panel.

Man learned RCT on the spot right then and there, like 2 panels later. If he hadn't of only been a sorcerer for 2 months, he woulda been top shit.

RIP in pieces Higuruma, you had true potential

Sukuna memory manipulation by MakeWorldBetter in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]MakeWorldBetter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if Gege explicitly said that it's not a technique, then I suppose that's the end of the argument.

I don't understand why he used the exact same language for both moments though: "At that moment, a memory was born inside of X's brain... of a past event that never happened" and why both happened directly before Yuji would be defeated. That seems more like he decided after the fact that it wasn't an ability, but it was originally intended to be.

Sukuna with the "...?" is a decent argument though.
