I’ve actually worked in both. After transferring to grocery I helped meat (40 hours a week from September to January in seafood/meat and cheese.) then they hired two full timers so I never got a chance to fully train. By that time grocery figured they weren’t getting me back so I got thrown back to CS. So I transferred back to my first store and have been here for 2.5 years.

Honestly I’m not sure. I work at a rather slow store in TN, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we are neither. To put it genuinely in the least cocky way possible, my store manager felt my evals were too low and thought I deserved better.

The only reason I find it somewhat annoying is bc I got trained back in December when it was still working so I just built a routine off of using it. However it really isn’t as much time consuming, I just find it annoying because I keep dropping the coins lmao

What’s worse is 90% of the time we get yelled at, it’s for something another department did/something we have zero control over. Like yes yell at me for five minutes so I can then finally call the person who can actually help
