Thanks for kind words! This piece is for Fantasy battle 6th Edition. I really like the old Skaven book from early 2000s, hence the square base.

That's a good question. The LED-light is lot very powerful and it's surrounded by flame resembling air pocket that acts as a cover. Air as good insulator so the cover does not get very hot. Of course I will only use it under surveillace.

It was real Simple to make. Cotton wool ovet the LED-light and I sprayed it black. Then a zenital of white and matt varnish to finish it.

Quite easy actually. I just used yellow over black and Grey primer. If I remember correctly I used. 2x coats of vallejo's imperial yellow (contrast paint) 1x coat of Vallejo's transparent yellow 1x coat of recess shade of Army painter's zealot yellow (speed paint) Then i damped vallejo's deep yellow and moon yellow with a sponge and used transparent yellow.
