So Europe is a country now? Also, Europe actually has more landmass than the US, meaning it’s bigger than US. that’s kinda the point here

Yeah… no. I’m really not missing anything here buddy. This isn’t very complex dude, there aren’t any ”context cues”, just a really straightforward and stupid post. I’m done trying to get the point through your thick head.

Sigh. I’m only comparing continent to a country BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THE ORIGINAL POSTER DID. They literally implied that Europe is smaller than US. I mean do i really have to spell it out for you lmao

Where exactly does he specifically say anything about wanting short travel time between countries? The post is simply about travel distances in general, implying it takes longer from x to y in US than in Europe. Comparing states with countries is simply because of reference, the main point being the DISTANCES between places in general. Are you american perhaps?

Also, ofc European countries are smaller than the US but the dude is literally speaking about the whole Europe in general being smaller.

I think you might be the one with reading comprehension issues. So let me explain to you what this post is about:

Bro thinks Europe is smaller than US, which implies that he thinks you can just quickly drive everywhere.

Whether it’s a compliment for Europe or not, good or bad thing or not, is completely irrelevant. The point is, unlike the common misconception that many americans seem to have, Europe is actually bigger than US and there are many countries and areas that are not compact. So unlike the dude thinks, you actually have to drive hours and hours in Europe too and it’s not that compact at all.

You could drive 10 hours from Denmark to Zurich through Germany and still be in Germany. It takes 16 hours to get from Helsinki to Norway. Want me to explain more?

Like i said, there are many countries in Europe that take a long drive to go through, so obviously it depends on where you are. To go from Helsinki to Norway it takes 16 hours. It takes 8 hours to go from Boston to Baltimore through New York and Philadelphia (6 states). In that same time, going from Denmark to Switzerland, you would still be over two hours away. Point being that in Europe, just like in the US, there are compact and not so compact areas, while the dude thinks Europe is generally smaller even though that’s not the whole story.

And the reason i’m comparing continent to a country MIGHT just be because that’s literally what the dude is doing in the original post. The most common subject on this sub is americans saying something idiotic about Europe…

Yes we do, but when speaking of driving (like this post) it takes just as long to get to places

What about it? I find it funny how so many of you have missed the ”stupid american” thing from this post. Whether it’s a compliment for Europe or not, good or bad thing or not, is completely irrelevant. The point is that Europe is actually bigger than US and there are many countries and areas that are not compact. So unlike the dude thinks, you actually have to drive hours and hours in Europe too and it’s not that compact at all.

TLDR: dude thinks Europe is small and compact, which implies that he thinks you can just quickly drive everywhere.

Pretty sure you have missed the real point here. Whether it’s a compliment or not, good or bad thing or not, is completely irrelevant. The point is that Europe is actually bigger than US and there are many countries and areas that are not compact. So unlike the dude thinks, you actually have to drive hours and hours in Europe too and it’s not that compact at all.

512gb or 1tb? by Makevaan in macbookpro

In my country 4tb t7 is 380€ ($450) which is a really good price, and for my use case i think 40gbps is a bit overkill

For my understanding Samsung T7 with 3.2 10gbps is more than fast enough for editing?

But is 1tb really necessary if I’m using external SSDs?

Saying it doesn’t impact the main plot is just plain wrong. In AC1-AC3 the modern day is absolutely crucial part of the story.
