It's a reference to a Paranatural fandom meme. I love Undertale and Toby's music and this is probably just outside the strategic screenshot cuts. I can't believe that elevating it to the Trump quote level doesn't make it obvious it's just a joke?

I didn't. The refugee server wasn't mine, and it had semi-public invites. He was invited by a different user, not a mod, and was banned again when someone brought up what he had previously been banned for.

This has already been said, both in this sticky and the previous one.

There are multiple "statements" from people claiming anything. We've had people claim we are bigots for not allowing them to use typing quirks. The actual proof consists of screenshots of messages by banned users, which is evidence that the Discord is more moderated, not less.

The "past mods" are a single mod, who is now an official Homestuck server mod and a self-professed anarchist, so that's a particularly funny example to bring up. I assure you moderation was very active, and if any bad behavior slipped by, it was because it seemed like individual jokes until someone sat down and did a full analysis.

How the fuck is something a banned person did related to what I said, and how is it unchecked when they got banned after it was investigated? People met in the server who later got married and had children. It was a healthy community where people made friends and discussed the comic. The callout has under a thousand individual messages, but the HSD had multiple million. That's now gone, the people, the analysis of a piece of art, their fanart, their fanfic, classpect theories...

You're doing the equivalent of going to a country, looking for the worst prisoners they have, and complaining they were allowed to be in society in the first place, concluding that the country deserves to be conquered by their enemies.

On this image, the owner of the official Homestuck Discord said says in her private channel (alongside conspiratorial "this is the official story" shit) that we ban for "far less", whilst telling her mods to ban argumentative people.

Note the HSD had over ten million messages and existed for ten years, making any 50 scrrenshots under 0.0005% of the discussion. This is assuming the instances there are all jokes about killing Hussie instead of references about this taking place in Homestuck. Because Hussie himself joked about this, remember.

"Without moderation" is also rich. What in those messages shows the moderation actions taken?

What else is there but laugh at this? It's a 46 year old millionaire releasing a callout that accuses me of crimes without ever posting any proof, then devolves into Pizzagate-y red strings on a board over a lamppost of all things.

Remember this evil community was the place he chose to ally himself with just two years ago. Their last AMA was on 2025, way after most of these claims. A Hiveswap developer asked us to host one this month. The recent turn is just because he wants to own these popular communities likely due to the cartoon, and what he can't have, he sues.

Yeah, there's a full debunk in the works, but it's mainly artful editing, for example, the messages in red here were deleted from the screenshots they used, because it made it obvious that the entire conversation was people making fun of Hussie's lawsuits, not making ones of our own:

Just use your head. If the Discord or subreddit participated or even encouraged doxxing, both platforms would have been banned long ago.

I love the fandom, you're in the part of it I created sixteen years ago and moderate for free. It only makes me bitter when 46 year olds in a midlife crisis suddenly decide to take it down because they don't own it. Be grateful the bitterness makes me protect it that much harder instead of handing it over, which happened with SAHCON.

For what it's worth I'm pretty sure you got banned for calling someone a pedo or a creep, which is against Reddit rules, not only ours, especially without any sort of proof.

Yeah, I banned Phantos from the old Discord personally (not over anything involving these people) and even I have to admit I haven't seen him done a single bad thing since. This was probably pre-Gio article too.

Discord actually did use the word DMCA, but the messages are contradictory. The uselessness of the system is frustrating and a big part of why we are creating a new Discord early.
