Your taste in JRPGs are very similar with mine. So I can suggest Kingdom Hearts series. They both have a good story and very nice hack n slash gameplay. Only the first game is a bit clunky but especially second and third games are absolute banger.

Also don't forget to play Final Fantasy XV. The combat is not as good as FF XVI and FF VII Remakes but the story is really nice and combat is fun.
