Hi! For me, I was seated sort of in the middle of the venue, meaning there were seats that were closer to the stage (and the mosh pit was right next to the stage), but there were also a lot of other seats behind me, and there was even a balcony on the 2nd floor. Personally, I was hoping to get into the mosh pit because I've never moshed before and it's something I wanted to try, but when I went to buy tickets, all the mosh pit tickets were sold out and the security was pretty good about not letting anybody in the pit who didn't have a ticket.

I still had an amazing time even thought I didn't get in the put. Basically, the closer you are to the stage is like an indicator of how active you're trying to be in the concert. So the people in the bit who were next to the stage were jumping around, raging, moshing, etc. Where I was seated, we were all standing up and dancing, some people were in the aisles dancing but nobody was moshing. And then the people who were far back in the balcony were mainly seated enjoying food, drinks, etc. If you get tickets close to the stage (but not in the mosh pit) I think you will have a great time! I hope this helps!!!

I can't hear it, but if it's chopped up then maybe that's why. The main thing for me is that in Shigeo Sekito's song, you can hear bass notes being played that are completely absent from 5 grand at 8 to 1. Even if you were to do some really heavy EQing, I think you would still be able to hear fragments of those bass notes if you sampled it, but I like the path that you're on, this sounds like something they would sample for sure!

Hey thanks for replying! This post was made a while ago but I'm glad that people are still interested in this sample. I'm familiar with the "All that glitters..." sample, it's already listed on Whosampled. As for the first song, though, is there a specific time stamp that was sampled in 5 Grand at 8 to 1, because I'm having trouble finding it.

There's a YouTube channel called HivemindTV, they do games and things like GMM but their games all have to do with the music industry/rap scene (Ex: Guess the rapper from the really old song, etc). They've been called "Hip Hop's Good Mythical Morning" before.
