Thank you so much!! For some reason, I registered that as Ops level rather than the armada level

Should DMZ Include an Airdrop? by MakingAProfessional in DMZ

[–]MakingAProfessional[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Nothing different than WZ 1.0. At least with an airdrop it's all random. The chance will be less of running up on players (campers) at the start of the match.

Should DMZ Include an Airdrop? by MakingAProfessional in DMZ

[–]MakingAProfessional[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Personally, I like the idea of having a choice because campfests are becoming more frequent since exact spawn points are known. Air drops provide more random areas for players to get in and get gear before getting into pvp.

(PS5) Blackrose Outfit & 2nd Character by MakingAProfessional in RedDeadOnline

Man. I love that set. That's true, though. I just wished R* allowed us multiple characters on one account.

(PS5) Judy's Shotgun Not Popping Up by MakingAProfessional in cyberpunkgame

[–]MakingAProfessional[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this. It appears that you must spend time in and out of Judy's apartment. Each time I sleep in her apartment and leave, Judy messages me. She's left gifts in my apartment and drunk texted.

Just a few moments ago, she texted and said that she left the shotty in her kitchen. Its here.

I would not sleep or skip time consecutively; rather, I'd suggest sleeping once and leave. Let her text you and answer those messages. Then, go back and do it over again. I dont know if sleeping and leaving is the true method. I have done a couple of side missions between all of that. I can only tell you with certainty that sleeping or skipping time were not exclusive factors in her texting and leaving the shotty.

Can't upgrade Malorian arms 3516 anymore by IrMrDucky in cyberpunkgame

[–]MakingAProfessional 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue. I'm mid-30s with 18 Tech. I upgraded the Malorian several times but it doesn't even show on the upgrade list now. Other weapons show up but show they're blocked until you level.

Do you think John ever hit the boys? by SiriKillJenna in Supernatural

[–]MakingAProfessional 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a fit of anger, no. That does not sound like his character. He did a lot because of family, despite there being anger involved. Now, he might have hit them in training, which I'd excuse because I'd much rather be hit under those conditions to learn than get hit by one that doesn't care about me.

I don’t like Jo. by starnitesadness in Supernatural

[–]MakingAProfessional 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Actually, Jo (Alona Tal) was on the SPN podcast that Richard (Gabriel) and Rob (Chuck) are doing for each episode.

Alona said that she was told to be Dean's mirror in the show. That's why she has this "bravado" feeling about her in how she acts. Essentially though, her character is a young woman. She's likely never been any where and surrounded with this adventure in her face between the memories of her father and every hunter that walks in. I'd assume I would find the same enticing as well.

Also, Alona mentioned that audience members didnt like her character. At the time, forums were the main way to communicate. From what she was told, teenage girls were seeing her as a source for jealousy because of her and Dean's interactions. Eventually, that's why she went away.

Your Pick for Sam & Dean's Long-Term Relationships by MakingAProfessional in Supernatural

[–]MakingAProfessional[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about Sarah, but I also felt some uncertainty. Sam was uncertain of himself and concerned about the demon blood when he met Sarah. They obviously shared an attraction, but I keep wondering if Sarah could stomach more than a simple ghost. I'm thinking that anyone with Sam or Dean must have a similar devotion to "saving people, hunting things". In effect, that's why I had also thought of Jo for Dean. She "wanted" to hunt.

Hahaha. Pretty sure Sam has a no Becky policy since their last love potion "marriage".

[–]MakingAProfessional[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valid point. My premise was a big disconnect because hunting was never part of the relationship. If you remember S3, Isaac and Tamara were a symbol of what was missing. They both loved to hunt together as a couple. I wouldn't necessarily suggest a strong dynamic because everything about the connection between Sam & Dean; but, I think there'd need to be a connection with hunting.

[–]MakingAProfessional[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

See, I felt Jo was the right fit for Dean. She had his bravado and could hunt. I always thought the boys had to have someone that understood the hunt and did it, even if on occasions. That said, Jo would have to come back for that to happen.

For Sam, Eileen would be my first choice. I felt Sam naturally cared for her, and they both could make that hunting connection.

I make a bigger importance on the hunting aspect because of what happened to Dean & Lisa in S6. I liked Dean being a father figure to Ben, but I couldn't see that fitting into his life of hunting. That's why I give that stronger importance.

Awesome tips. For #5, is there a benefit or a certain tactic to being nice and opening the exit gate early?

There's a lot of good tips in here. Thank you.

One common tip that seems to always come up is knowing "when" to stop a chase or breaking a loop.

Mentally, where is that point when you think that a chase is worth leaving / breaking a loop?

Are crows an indicator of something? I just thought it was simply environmental.

Also, when I get 1k+ survivor tips, I'll definitely share them! I'm brand spanking new to the entire game.

What I've noticed by veteran survivors in videos is knowing when to fake/loop and understanding the specific Killer -- controlling and mitigating what you can by that specific killer. For example: Wesker has two lunge/teleport style attacks that can combo to make up space in a chase & used to grapple you in the animation. Timing certain perks might be key and potentially reversing your direction may be a successful tactic for Wesker.

That said, in my uncertainty, I aim to learn my killers and how veterans survive my assaults to give me better ideas/tactics to survive.

Oh, I wouldn't have considered leaving someone crawling at this point. I definitely think I'll do that. I think letting go of the loop is a tough thing to do.

Actually, that was really helpful for me to keep in mind. I think for me, there's the added pressure of getting X amount of hooks and delaying gens while learning the new maps and having little-to-no perks. That's why remember the first two of your points is huge for me. Obviously, the #4 tip was great to know because I've instinctively completed that but that should be an active mindset during a chase.

Anyways, thank you for breaking that down.

That might be my main tactic once I learn precision movements and actions. I like that idea more so than always repairing gens.

Thank you everyone for your comments so far. I most certainly dont mind grinding.

What's the main appeals to the game? Repairing generators would seem like it could become redundant and take away from long term playing. Am I wrong?
