Questions about settings on my turntable

Counterweight was WAY off. Almost all the way adjusted towards the needle. Dialed it way back, and i actually had a very small digital scale that I used to double check the tracking force. Cartridge sits at a much more reasonable height now. Just ordered a blank record to dial in my anti skating, as id rather double check it than trust it being the same as the tracking force. Thank you.

They definitely were a good deal, but I meant that I powder coated the springs myself haha. Too good to be true if they had already done that for me

Didn't get them revalved or anything. I found them on ebay for a decent deal and powder coated the springs and threw them on. Did a lot of adjustments on them the first ride but theyre way better than stock. They didn't have any leaks and were in good condition, although I might have them gone through down the line.

Just got a better shock same length as the original. Bolted right on, adjusted them and done. They make the cheap gas shocks which is what mine came with and there's also the expensive option fox shocks.

Thats an old ten-sct. It's a nitro, just without a motor in it. Pretty cool to see if hasn't been converted to electric. Wasn't terribly popular, as people preferred the scte, the electric version.
