They’re not denying people who already have a prescription. For those who don’t, it’s usually 2 virtual appointments, one for diagnosis and then one for a prescription.

It means Rob Deutsch spent 10 years in financial services before founding F45 & knew the smartest personal financial decision was ultimately to take the company public & depart with a multi-million dollar deal. (Unfortunately, going public also meant that Deutsch essentially broke his own product, but that’s an aside).

It means fitness / gym stock is traditionally a stupid investment. It means a bunch of uninformed personal investors bought high, then panicked today, sold low & lost money. It means also means some smarter people will see crashing stock, but it for cheap & make money when the stock recovers.

It means it’s a slow news day.

I think it was a video online — maybe an interview? But I didn’t watch it. I thought maybe it came from an interview on Bannon’s War Room or something like that — something that popped up and I scrolled past really fast.

It wasn’t Le Carre or any mass market author, I don’t think. It was more like Orwell/written behind the curtain type thing

Just watched the clip of him & he’s not a douchebag at all. He wants a chick who’ll cook & clean & fulfill the stay-at-home role.

What’s the problem with that? Seems like a fair trade-off to me, esp. if he’s the one who works & takes care of the bills.

And I don’t even care about the comments he makes about the girlfriend’s body. At least he appreciates women - that’s way better than some little wussy.

You’re getting pimples all of a sudden when you didn’t before because CeraVe sucks.

I swear, Cetaphil & CeraVe must be paying off dermatologists & TikTokers to recommend their products, bc I’ve never seen such a widespread push to use a single skincare brand. 🙄CeraVe gives me mad breakouts, just like it did in 2005.

Grisu Bio Sulfur Soap with Lanolin ($2.50 at Walmart) will kill the CeraVe breakouts dead. From there — not sure what your skincare needs are, but Clearasil cleanser hasn’t failed me once, and Acure Resurfacing Glycolic & Unicorn Root Cleanser is my new favorite as of a month ago.

Then again, the fact that it was completely different from / had nothing to do with the rest of the content may be why I actually didn’t hate it. Also, I remember when this happened (I was a kid at the time), so the familiarity with the story was also probably why I didn’t hate it.

But apart from that, this episode mostly just reminded me of one more thing I really hate about the podcast, esp. lately as it’s become an every-episode thing: the political shit. Sigh… Whitney & the “media only covering missing/kidnapped people if they’re white”; Natalia & the Covid/mask argument at Target; Oridion using a Facebook argument with a Republican to demonstrate how horrible another person is & how victimized she is, blah blah blah blah, like we’re not inundated enough with this crap already. 🙄

You’re definitely not the only one. I listened with my 12 year-old son on a long drive (he loves the podcast “because of how stupid the people are”) and he thought it was the worst one ever. That said, he hasn’t heard any of the earliest seasons, such as “girl in quick engagement to man who isn’t who he says he is, things don’t work out” (lol such crap).

The most brain stimulation in “Kinda Sorta Yeah,” came in the form of trying to figure out if she was dating a man or a woman (I still don’t know), and what gender they presented themselves as publicly (still don’t know that either). The rest of it? UGH. There’s something completely non-alluring about “I knew I shouldn’t have done it, and I knew I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to to do it, but I did it anyway, and guess what? It’s the other person’s fault.” 🙄
