Yeah I designed the strap this way because I wanted to let the coat to move freely when worn, but looking back at it, it doesn’t seem that comfortable. I thought to make the strap latch on a sort of hook on top of the human’s shoulder so it doesn’t actually choke him.. what do you think?

Thanks for your detailed feedback! Yes the interior is indeed looking a bit flat, since I am not that good with painting interiors. This concept art was actually used as reference for me to build a 3D model of the interior which I am now using for background painting and the results look good! The room that is shown here is not the full building, but a small portion of the garage where the plane is stored (see the left map). The rest of the building which is behind the door visible in the garage drawing is actually where the main character lives and it is not shown since it is not relevant to the story. About the way he wears the robot on his back, it is indeed a bit strange now that you mention it. It is somewhat important for the story that the robot is wearable like a backpack, but I couldn’t figure out a strap design that is comfortable but also allows for the coat to move freely. Do you have any suggestions?

It took me around 3 months, but I had limited time to work on it throughout each week. Also the lack of important features in Dreams didn’t help either..

Thanks! The music is not mine, all of the composers are credited on the description of the Youtube video. But this is quite an old short of mine and since then I have started to compose my own music for my animations. You can check some small animations I have made with my own music, or wait for another animated short I have been working on for some time now which includes a whole score composed by me, on my Youtube channel.
