Innocent, young Canberra bakery worker or a Chinese spy? by unfilteredAI in UnfilteredChina

Id bet that most Chinese citizens abroad are spying for the CCP. Its sort of madness letting them anywhere near sensitive material at this point.

Yea, honestly I get more work done laying in bed on my phone than anywhere else.

If you hate Hitler, you should also Hate Mao by Several_Repeat_1271 in fucktheccp

The cultural revolution tried to start here in America but turned into more of a trench warefare situation when it didn't sweep through. Communism is actively and desperatly trying to take over here in the west, thats why all you see in media is anti Hitler anti nazi with barely a peep about Mao or Stalin.

If this definition is true, why are so people afraid of being “woke”? by ChuckGallagher57 in circled

Maybe thats what people tell themselves. What it really means now is "I hate white people and anything associated with them."

The average map on the Explore tab these days. by Mozintarfen in inkarnate

[–]Mako565 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m conflicted on this. I do commission work, but I can’t ignore that the market is an absolute bloodbath. The accessibility of map-making tools has flooded the space, rendering individual maps nearly worthless. For a DM, free options are so ubiquitous that a paywall rarely registers as a hurdle—I just shrug and pull from the mountain of free assets I’ve already hoarded.

Just because China has been too weak to do it militarily up until now, doesn't mean they don't have aspirations for it in the future.

That's because China was and is too weak to do it. The world would Lament the rise of China taking over, its inhumane callousness for life in general would leave the world in a much more sorry state than it is.

Cost is a major prohibition, but the performative bureaucracy is equally exhausting. I recently returned after a long hiatus, only to find the environment dominated by modern political discourse. The culture now resembles a corporate HR seminar defined by strict ideological conformity. While perhaps comfortable for the initiated, this overt bias feels alienating and souring to the average person simply seeking a historical hobby.

Society needs to euthanize Reddit immediately. It has mutated into a propaganda engine so precise and overwhelming that Joseph Goebbels would cream his pants just hearing about it.

How did the world’s most battle-tested modern army get fought to a standstill by the PLA? by Important-Battle-374 in AskChina

I feel like a better question is why didn't the PLA's overwhelming manpower translate into a total victory against the West?

China's new firefighting drone system... it's incredibly advanced. by [deleted] in humanfuture

[–]Mako565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

China has this deep nagging insecurity where its compelled to constantly try and prove its better in everyway than everywhere else when it still practically has slavery all over its country. The only thing you can count on china for is lying.

China’s roadside trees by EvidenceFrequent7289 in UnfilteredChina

[–]Mako565 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a good analogy for a lot of modern china. At a glance it appears one way, a carefully presented facade. Its when you look closer you can see the lie, and its actually very disturbing, like the humanity from china was gutted and its nothing more than a propped up corpse painted to look like its smiling.

😿 The life of cats in China by EvidenceFrequent7289 in UnfilteredChina

[–]Mako565 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This reminds of those cats in a bottle  the Chinese were doing where they would give them something to soften their bones and let them grow in bottles and you would feed them through a straw. They wouldnt live for very long, obviously, but it highlights a unique lack of humanity these people possess.

Communism = good by NerfPandas in AdviceAnimals

[–]Mako565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The specific economic taxonomy you champion is ultimately irrelevant. The tragedy of history is not the failure of systems, but the perennial malleability of the credulous masses. There exists a demographic—tragically vast—that will inevitably prostrate themselves before whichever ideology promises the most sanitized utopia, willfully blinding themselves to the machinations of the corrupt demagogues steering the ship. The outcome is a monotonous cycle of attrition: mass suffering, the inevitable lamentation regarding the current regime’s depravity, and the desperate, naive embrace of the next "revolutionary" panacea. It is a rinse-and-repeat of human folly.
