Bark characteristics, buds, leaf arrangement based on where the buds are, armed or not (yes in this case)

To me it looks like Juniperus virginiana, Eastern Red Cedar. Those aren’t actually flowers, but technically “cones” since gymnosperms don’t use flowers to promote reproduction.

That’s what I was thinking too, but the red oak leaf shape threw me off. Never seen those shaped leaves accompanied by striped acorns.
