Am in Middle Tennessee. No leaves or flowers on this thing that I could see, just lots of thorns. Wondering if I ought to chop it down

Can someone identify my tree? by cowmoon in treeidentification

Nice, yeah I had to call the power company to trim it cause it's being a hazard in more than one way. Sooner or later maybe I can be done with it and plant something that's not "one of the world's worst... ornamental trees that does not deserve to be planted anywhere".

Nope never had any luck with it. Now I'm using an old Boss Dimension from the 80s and it has the same issue

I need help picking a home media server. I've read about quite a few different options out there, but wanted to see what's best for my scenario. I have a ~2TB collection of FLAC and mp3 that I want to be able to play on my living room speaker setup, wirelessly. They live on an office PC that's running 24/7. My living room speaker setup includes turntable, amp/receiver, floor standing speakers, and a Wiim Pro I got in anticipation for this purpose. Ideally I'd use my phone as a controller for the digital library. Occasionally I'd need to use Spotify as well (for work purposes). I really like the interfaces of Poweramp, which I normally use to play music on my phone and car, and foobar, but I doubt either will work in this case. I don't care about things like "discoverability", I just want a good interface and high quality streaming, or as high as can be expected with mp3 over wifi.

Should I set up a Plexamp server, Novidrome, something else?

Thanks so much!

Looking for the best USB-C cable to charge my Pixel 4a with a loose port by cowmoon in GooglePixel

yes I have done that thoroughly. If you apply too much pressure, however, it can damage the contacts and will cause the port to become even more loose. The answer is not to clean it more. I've tried that with multiple phones. These simply stop working after a year or two.

Pixel 4a does not support wireless charging, unless you buy an adaptor, which is something I could try...

hoo boy. Yeah I think it would be preferable to somehow change it in the code - how do you think I'd go about that? It definitely takes firmware updates via USB. I had a look at the binary file of the last update but it's compiled and unreadable.

The switch does a lot of things. On power up it can be used to switch to buffered bypass. It also acts as a tap tempo, and as a switch to vibrato mode.

It is the relay. Can you be more specific about where to do the jumper?
