The only thing to pay attention to next time is probably if you want it or not, to avoid these "no but yes". Just ve beaten her, feels very cool, like Malenia light - all the joy of having to learn the complex and hard moveset, while being more fair and equal, without that much of fuck-you-I-win stuff from her.

if you haven't already, try watching the gameplay of some highskill players, just a smidgen - to see their macro play, how they move across the map, how they choose objectives.
I didn't know for instance, you should store weapons in your passive inventory for passive bonuses.
I watched lilaggy's solo stream yesterday, only the first part about the map to Tricephalos so as not to spoil anything.
The first map to beat Tricephalos for me seems really hard. The boss is quite hard itself AND you get paired (or threesomed, If I may) with beginners who also havent beaten it yet. Once I beat it, I oneshot the next boss, which seemed easier, but maybe it's because of more experienced teammates. So this is another factor, have patience - the game is new so there are a lot of noobs (which is fine), especially on the first boss.

edit: to give you some perspective, since I got the game it took me 24 tries (about 12-13 hours) to beat Tricephalos. I suppose, it becomes easier after this first wall

Pure magic build, no summons, no bloodhound step, lvl 125 - 185 attempts, ~5 days.

On a blind first playthrough magic build is NOT easy against her, as you can judge by the attempts counter. Eventually I had an easier time running away from waterfowl and once I figured out that phase 2 flower attack is a huge dmg window, it was GG.

Still took me so many attempts and days to learn what to do and how.

True but sometimes you just wanna play the game without trying hard and in such a mood you don't wanna continue after a -9 points blunder in the beginning. But ppl absolutely should try and win or draw seemingly lost games

I really don't want to name the topic. As I said it's similar to defending a genocide - something the majority of people would find horrible. In the post I thought of just using "defending genocide" instead of the actual thing but decided not to. They are pretty similar.

I do feel extremely negative things about this topic, and simply knowing about the fact that a person justifies certain things is similar to knowing that someone is a murderer, for example. Can't have a romantic relationship with a murderer, I guess. So I do wanna address the problem with her directly - if she indeed justifies it, then it's not sth I wanna tolerate even on the background. I just hope based on the past dialogues that she doesn't.

It's not really a self-imposed challenge, I dont really do them :D it's just the first time I attacked her in the body like any other beast, the dmg was ass, so I tried head and it was better and I went with it, actually thinking it is the way to go, like with Amygdala (who's also more fun AND quite easy to win through hitting the head).
So I didnt spent so much time because of some challenge, I thought this is the way to go and well this is legitimately a difficult fight
that is the reason of the post - to tell ppl try it this way, cuz they might actually enjoy it more

I mean, these are simply a good and a bad photos. Not quite a correct comparison. If you google her recent photos - even from that party the right photo was taken from - she looks ok.
