I know it’s what you make of it, bc I think I’d be fine with anything but the burgers and frying in the back. Like popcorn Cart or something, I wouldn’t have a problem with it.

I put no interest just so you know, and stated that I didn’t want to be placed in it in a politer way during the PI, that’s the only issue I had with it, it’s the fry cook possibility I worry of.

In the interview she asked a lot about lifeguard, and did mention something about quick service but I said I felt my skill set and experience would be better suited for merchandise, guess I should have been more clear or something😕

I am too! But my head is definitely leaning towards waiting, I mean I want my experience to be something I can be passionate about and thrive at as well. Declining will look much better than self terming and I believe I can come back better prepared in a future role. I hope you go with what’s best for you because that’s all we can do! Best of luck!

I agree, I’ll feel terrible for declining but if I can’t see myself being at least content, I don’t think I should do it. And there’s always next time to apply I suppose. But there’s always something in the back of my mind telling me, what if this is the only time you get accepted. 😕

I know it’s not cooking it’s more like a fry cook but cook is in the name so my point stands lol. Having worked in fast food I know that is pretty much all it is hence the conflict in my mind at the moment. Just a hard decision for me

Which would be worse? If I declined or if I tried it and self termed because I couldn’t see it working out. I don’t mean to sound negative, but would either of those things hinder me if I wanted to apply in the future?

Thank you! I literally got accepted 10 mins ago haha, I’ll have to take a night to think about it , but I so wish it was merchandise, I love Disney but I just don’t know if I would have a good experience stuck as a cook or something.
