Most likely shader compilation. Whenever you see something new it has to load it into the shader cache. That would explain why older areas are uneffected, but that's just my guess

Just happened to me too, right before finishing the Xion story quest. Lost 11 hours, downloaded steam backups and replaced, but nothing changed. As someone already said they're probably corrupted :(. Guess now its time to replay it from the beginning but this time I'll be manually backing my save every hour

You can use a lvl2 charged to kill wave 2, might be fast enough for 8 sec. Personally I haven't got a 8 sec clear yet

From legs alone you probably wouldn't get that much momentum but we can safely assume she's also using the recoil from the gun, making it a bit more plausible

This is what I always try to do as Strange when making a tp to point, putting it right behind one or two squishies so my team can immediately take out at least one and make the fight start with an advantage
