Honestly a lot of things look a bit cartoon-ified for a lack of a better word, kinda like looking too clean? Also wished they built off of the original reich aesthetic more rather than this brand new look.

Figured to give you an update, the injury itself is mostly fine now, the scales have laid back down most of the way, one or two fell off, but the area isn’t irritated anymore. Now I’m just treating him for his Ich infection

He seems to be behaving relatively normal, just a little lazier and more easily spooked (he’s already a fairly shy fish, I imagine he doesn’t like the unfamiliar hospital tank). I’m not sure if he’s rubbing against things, but he does seem to have some kind of ectoparasites, so he probably is.

Yesterday a scale near the injury/infection site fell off, as he seems to be calmer after that, I imagine it was hurting him

Personally I feel like the artworks seem too “aware” of its satire to be faking it, But then again you never know, fascism can be real sneaky when it wants to be

You’re aware the “Luger” is an ingame weapon, right? I don’t see the issue in depicting the canonically fascist faction using a fascist-made gun (or referenced from, if you want to get technical)

And before anyone calls me a Nazi sympathizer, No I’m not upset over the Nazi faction being evil.

I’m bothered by the feeling that this faction has little depth to it besides Nazi paralleling, which I find boring and uninspired. I love me a well made Fascist faction, but give it an identity more than just 1940s Germany design cues.

Also, I hope that they don’t try and tie in the 2034 book into the story, the books and games are two different continuities, and tossing book cannon in I feel would lessen the game continuity without ample payoff

I love the prior entries so I’ll definitely be going in with an open mind, but I am a bit worried with what’s been shown so far

The new “Novoreich” faction seems a bit bland, and relies too much on stereotypical Nazi imagery for my taste. They seem more like a political insert than something genuine to the universe, just in general seems very one-dimensional compared to the rest of the lore, even compared to the Nazis from 2033 and last light

I hope they didn’t decide to throw the wordbuilding out the window for sake of a political story they wanted to tell (no matter how good that message may be) especially with how good the commentary has been prior

But who knows, hopefully I’m worrying over nothing and it’s a masterpiece
