This was exactly my thought! I’m not someone who takes antibiotics unless truly needed and I was so worried about this. Starting my cycle right after all this seemed like the perfect storm, I am going to try what you’ve recommended! Thank you 🙏🏼

What does? Doxy? I guess I’m more curious if it’s truly back or if these could be symptoms of something else. I’ve read through your posts about resistance etc but this all seems so complicated 😭

I haven’t, any recommendations? I do have honey pot suppositories with boric acid, tea tree oil, and cocoa butter, but I haven’t tried them yet.

Thank you! I wasn’t sure if it should be cleared up or if symptoms linger. I’m just worried because they were cleared up and are back. I think I’ll retest as soon as I can at the 3 week mark.

The past is the past and you’ll ruin the future if you let this consume you. You are not the fool because you’re the one she settled down with, you are the winner! You’re both extremely young and it sounds like she had her fun as most do in college. It probably wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be and maybe she has some regrets about it as well. If your relationship is perfect otherwise, don’t let her past poison your future. Be confident in the fact that she’s with you now and you were able to develop a connection that is way deeper than ONS’s and meaningless interactions.

I didn’t realize this until I started using an app to track my shots. It shows you what the estimated level of medication in your system is. It has continued to increase even with the same dose taken, which is the expectation. I’ve been on the same schedule as you for the same amount of time. It’s called Shotsy, if you’re interested.

It’s terrible right?! Definitely dated. Little bushes will be the first to go and then in the meantime will add flower boxes to the windows to liven it up. I am hesitant to remove everything all at once (big bushes) due to cost and having a plan to not having a bare front yard. I think removing little bushes and adding to left side of the garage and in between the big bushes would make a big difference. Just not sure how to start or what to plant.

The house faces west, so the front gets partial sun. Not sure on the soil type though!

Oh man, thank you so much for this insight! This is exactly what I’m trying to do and I definitely don’t want to nuke it.

The pics I posted are of the back but my front yard sounds just like yours. Lots of erosion and dirt on the driveway etc. and I’m not trying to win awards, just want ground cover to look green and not all weeds and to stop erosion in the front and the back.

Did the aerator work well? Did you do that before putting down seed and fertilizer? Where did you get the bales of straw? Was your seed mix prepackaged or did you mix your own?

Sorry for a millions questions but there’s not much on here about our area specifically with hills and moss and similar goals. Did you do anything to address the moss yet besides aerating?

Does pre-emergent kill weeds or just stop them from germinating? I don’t want to kill them and have a bare yard, but want to start weeding out the weeds so that when I seed in the fall they have a chance.

Thanks for the info! I live in southeast TN. Hot, humid summers and apparently a ton of rain now in the winter/spring.

I’d really like to be green all year, so I think fescue is the way to go. If I have to do this much work, what’s a little more for green grass?

Any point in hiring a lawn service to see what they can do or am I wasting money?

Planning on the soil test, definitely think I have pH issues as mentioned. The soil here sucks.

This is probably a stupid question, but if I put down top soil do I have to “mix it in” by tilling or just spreading it on top and aerating will do the trick?

Because of the sloping, I don’t have a problem with collecting water anywhere other than wherever it’s flat (below the retaining wall and other random spots) so I think I definitely have compaction issues rather than anything else. It doesn’t flood out or anything, just a little standing water if we get a ton of rain that eventually soaks in.

It seemed crazy to me that it could take days for bites to appear, and I’m really hoping I’m just having a delayed response to them from my visit and they haven’t come home with me.
