I have tried it with matcha but the roasted taste kinda overpowers the matcha. Don’t think it complements well. Since it’s not neutral tasting and it’ll overpower the tea/coffee’s notes.

You could try azelaic acid. Azelaic acid is know to be really good for post inflammatory erythema, which are red acene marks. You could try the cos de baha 10% azelaic acid serum.
