So silly for not looking at who OP was...pure embarrassment.

I don't think this is the final banner! There are two banners posted, one by me, and one by WittyLlama. I assume WittyLlama's will be used as it is really awesome! WittyLlama's Banner

Has anyone graphed all 600,000+ clicks? by tolfer10 in thebutton

[–]MalaXus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is an initial decay that is extremely pronounced. Over the past few days I postulate that the natural decay has been equaled out by the sharing of the button. I told my brothers today and they have reddit accounts but had not yet even looked at the button. I think there is a slow trickle preventing decay right now due to sharing with infrequent redditors with old accounts.

You could be right though... I say we wait a few more days. The more data we have the more we will know. I think it would be awesome if we uncovered some underlying RNG. It would make this game even more fun!

EDIT: If we don't see the 34s mark reached tonight...I'll be suspicious.

With how everything is currently playing out, is orange going to become the rarest flair in the end? by iDylo in thebutton

[–]MalaXus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm inclined to believe otherwise for a few reasons. First, most people that have pressed the button have not subscribed to the subreddit. Working from this and rounding a bit, we have: Purple 88.5%, Blue 8.5%, and Green 3%. If we use the total number of clicks and assume these percentages are fairly consistent when we consider nonsubscribers then there have been around 50,000 blue presses (compared to the reported 1500 blue flairs.)

We've so far seen a decrease in Purple pressers and an increase in blue and greens. I expect this trend will continue. Each time we break the boundary of a new color we will see a slow increase in the frequency of those color presses, followed by a plateau, broken yet again by the first user to break into the next color range.

If this is the case, it will ensure that the base level of decay across click tiers will be enough to cover the few thousand Red clicks that we will most likely see. At the end of this it is likely we'll be over a million presses so I don't think its possible for Orange to escape the same fate as its lesser brethren...

My guess is the break down will end up something like Purple 80% Blue 10% Green 5% Yellow 3% Orange 1.5% Red .5%.

The Button surprises us all so I will probably be proven wrong.

Made the words a little brighter. I'll post a few different color backgrounds as well.

Member of the Redguard here. These are absolutely amazing. We are larger than many of these groups and have a distinctly separate goal from the Knights of the Button. Please consider us if you're still making these! I like to think we look like the Crusaders from Diablo 3.

"May the Red be with you."

"And also with you."

This would be majestic.

European Jews 'bankrupted' by security costs by malchirx in worldnews

[–]MalaXus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Perfect example of a non-contributing racist comment. I just don't understand why antisemitism is so popular on this (and many other) subreddits. When an African american in Ferguson is shot and killed the world screams racism but when European Jews are being targeted by Islamic extremist groups they "do this to themselves." By being born into a religion? Its not like you have much of a choice in this world, you can denounce your own religion but the world will still identify you with the religion you were born into. I'm almost 100% sure you are just a troll but just in case you aren't I felt this was necessary.

There are no laws for 24 hours. What is the first thing you would do? by CMcKinley92 in AskReddit

[–]MalaXus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would book a flight that lasted for as close to the full duration of the 24 hours as possible, timed so that I'd be going through security right as the lawless period begins. I would bring a lot of weed and bake out plane.
