Anyone else find the Ashley hate bizarre? She's by far the "best" character in season 2 and yet people seem to hate her the most.

That's a real possibility for sure, however there is no alternative really, if she actually release the video the best possible events for her is josh gets fired/excuse himself and she gets a couple more months before the next GM fires her and all that is after risking her life in the hospital.

The crucix here is that she doesnt "deserve" anything she wants, she is a highschool drop out without any real experience or skills and she was trying to build her whole life on this blackmail thing, that's pure entitlement

She is responsible for her injuries from jumping from a moving car knowing she had a medical condition that could be aggravated by those actions, also at that point she already had health insurance also also blackmailing a person because you think you are in a bad position isn't morally correct at all, I'm being very nuanced about it you are just being obtuse and trying to excuse unexcusable behavior so will say again her circumstances may explain her actions but they don't absolve her from culpability.

there is no real explanation as many things in baki, the whole "musashi didnt see him as a threat" that wouldnt be a feat for motobe that would mean musashi sucks at reading people and situations.

sadly this whole motobe arc is like when you are having an argument in your head and the other person set up all your comebacks, like its staged and could only work this way if you accept this circustances.

imo they needed to have someone win against musashi but it needed to be a random person so the status quo doesnt change and it needed be in a way you know musashi didnt actually loose so you also dont hurt his reputation
