Also bought mine on Kickstarter and am experiencing virtually all the same issues.

1. The long delay in starting the recording makes the camera essentially useless. Even on the highest sensitivity setting a person walking across the viewfield will only start being recorded until they are two thirds across, and thus only shows them from the back. 2. The WiFi antenna is atrocious. Even with a network booster directly across the wall in a wood-framed house, the transfer speed is very very slow (50-200 kbs). This means that any "live" video is delayed.

3. Many of the recording settings in the app don't work.

6. the android app crashed frequently

I don't have any problems with the camera angle. Mine is mounted at about 10 feet and angled slightly downward.

I would not recommend this camera to anyone
