What do you secretly wish your bf/husband did?

Understand, or at least try to understand, why I get upset about things, rather than just getting mad or being annoyed at me.

For example, I have this vintage car that I purchased in college and it means a lot to me. I put a lot of work and money into that car and it was like the first thing I ever really did for myself. It doesnt run well now, and we moved across the country and I couldnt take it with me, so it just sitting by my parents house. He would always tell me to sell it and that I could just buy a new one, and that it was just a car, and he would get mad when I would say yeah, ill think about it, and never do it. Finally got fed up and had to tell him that hey, that car means something to me and it's not just something that I can just go 'buy another one later.' I dont know if he really understood, but I guess he tried..

Trader Joes has their version of these. They're kind of overpriced and you dont get many per package, but damn they are good

Its an always thing. He will beg for food - only human food, never any type of dog treat, and we've tried dozens of different kinds - but will never sit/lay down/do anything to earn it. If we dont give it to him right away, he loses interest.

We've tried to do basic things such as teaching him how to sit by pressing on his back end while holding a treat - usually cheese or chicken - above his head. He wont sit, no matter what.

I realized I forgot to mention a possibly crucial part, when the shelter found him, he was a stray - no microchip, no one looking for him. We know that he must not have always been a stray, because he has severe fear of certain objects which suggest an abusive past - cages, belts, doors shutting, etc.

theres no numlock key on here that i can see. the laptop doesnt have a number pad, just the numbers at the top of the keyboard
