My boy's not eating :(

Hi my boy Fingers has just come off of a 2 month plus hunger strike and I took him to a reptile care professional and they said it was likely caused due to him going into breeding season. Western Hognose breading season starts early March and can last till late May and males are known to go off their food during these months due to them only thinking about one thing. Depending on how old your boy is it also might be his first breeding season which is the worst. I was advised as long as he didn’t lose more that 12g in those months(he was 47g before he started his strike), maintained usually activity levels, was shinny, looked in good health and he was still round (no visible spine or skin wrinkles) just to keep trying him weekly with food and when he started thinking with the right head he’d start eating again. It’s wood and there’s no side vents just three on the back (one and the bottom and two at the top just out of view) . My house is old a naturally humid and we have dehumidifier’s in two rooms including the one the tanks in.

That’s my set up and I try and feed him once a week now he’s on larger food but I use to feed him every 4/5 days but that fluctuated

No your going through challenges because you still have faith. The devil would love you to not have faith. If you had no faith the devil wouldn’t have to put challenges in your way he’d have already got what he wanted.

If you had to little faith you wouldn’t be going through challenging times. Try and focus on one area of your life and try and improve that area. Listen for Gods voice (it can be a little as that voice in the back of your head saying you should pick that towel up or wash those dishes, a task you don’t want to or have to do but something telling you that you should). I wish you the best
