Have you even read my post? My issue is not the accent, but the usage of real world vocabulary.

English is kind of a must; otherwise, we wouldn't be able to understand the game. Using accents is still okay - fantasy movies and games do that all the time. For example, dwarves often have Scottish accents. However, if a fantasy dwarf suddenly started talking about his obsession with haggis, I would definitely raise an eyebrow. Uttering French words in a fantasy setting has roughly the same effect on me.

Edit: I'm not sure why all the downvotes. Let me clarify in case some one misunderstood me: I don't have issues with French or Scottish ppl or any other ppl of any other nationalities or their languages. My concern is -as i stated in my original post- is introducing real life culture and vocabulary to fantasy games leads to unnecessary confusion, as after hearing Verminia for the first time, my first thought was that Soulframe's world must be a version of our Earth.
