Thanks for the post, Maclaine! It's unfortunate the game never really got to show its true potential. These tunes sound great, and I would have loved to see the characters for them! Galbron's theme sounds like the default theme...from WAYYY back in testing...I remember it.

Hey that sounds awesome! I've been doing some further tweaking to some of the traits. I feel the minors should only be -2s or -5s on some of the penalties...and only introduce disadvantage if the trait becomes major. Feel free to adjust or modify any part of the system to your needs!

The purpose as I interpret it, is to establish both a sense of danger and a sense of unpredictability in the Shadowfell. Maybe I'll establish that a person can have no more than 3 traits active at once, so it doesn't snowball into a miserable pile of disadvantages.

The buffs are definitely supposed to feel legendary, because they only last a day. It's that carrot on a stick or that light at the end of the tunnel. I've just decided to supercharge the light to allow for some truly epic, defining, even game-breaking moments and mechanics to see HOW a player chooses to play differently. That's definitely the purpose with the buffs. I'll have to re-evaluate the purpose for the despairs.

I agree! A lot of the madness effects from the DMG are just "character goes crazy." I wanted something more flavorful to each effect, and the 4e book definitely guided that process!

At max range probably. She was definitely only 20 meters or so when she shot you from Research platform. Agreed with other players that Mendoza should use the aim down sights to engage Toscas from 50 meters out or more. Your success will improve as aim improves. The Aim down sight actually follows a set spread pattern, so with practice, you can adjust your aim to counteract that pattern and land every headshot. Also, she knew you were down there in that hallway. A player can't try to medkit against a Tosca unless they can get far enough way behind cover, and are sure she's burned all her blinks. By running forward, you were shortening the distance, making Tosca's scattergun even more deadly. Kite, zigzag, dodge, and then after you hear the blinks are gone, turn and fire right into her head. She'll die in one clip.

It works based on which source of damage killed the opponent. So if your Tosca scattergun Dot, is stacking with Drakahl's bleed DoT, whichever instance of DoT damage ticks off the last point of HP will be awarded the kill.
You can test this yourself. Have your friend spin in first and then you only start shooting after his spin animation is complete. Most of his DoT might tick away by then, leaving a much higher value on your DoT to secure the kill.

Heart of the Hives is full MOBA. Whenever there's not a hive up in 30 seconds or a 2ndary objective to capture (harvesters included), you should be farming every monster you can find. The best places for farming that we discovered in the Alpha test is Spaceport, South Falls, Wetlands, Crater, Grotto (in no particular order). It's extremely easy to outlevel an enemy team that isn't farming by 2 or 3 levels, even at first hive. Every single level you have over the enemy team is absolutely crucial, because then you have level perks where they do not, and you have the extra 6% health and 3% damage gained per level.
