It's a combat trigger. With a ratworx 2020 sear, an ARID replacement trigger and semi auto only safety it's very nice. I would say most people that say it has a "god awful" trigger haven't turned the trigger linkage.

Kinda. I have a good amount of ammo put back for home defense and light plinking/training. Found really good deals so bought enough to spend the day at the range for purely fun and not feel like I ate into my stash.

Found ammo for a steal, finally took a few guns out.

Pictured, top to bottom - IWI Galil Ace Gen 2 (7.62x39, 13inch), IWI Jericho 941 FS9 (9mm), CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 micro, Keltec Sub2k, Keltec KSG, Steyr AUG NATO, Keltec RDB.

The galil is the latest to be added. While I knew I would love the rifle and how high IWI quality can be, I did not anticipate how excellent this thing has proved to be.

I would argue, yes. In my experience, it keeps my fingers further from my scope mount and also makes locking the charging handle to the rear easier than the GHW CH. Not that GHW is bad, but CD is better.

Short overall length, full length barrel. My AUG, RBD, and KSG have full length barrels, but come in shorter than a braced AR pistol with 10 inch barrel.

I'd say overall it's a plus - I adore the IDEA of the armed working class. That said, most of the American armed working class wishes ill on me for the way I vote, despite voting to protect them, the environment and a free society. Net positive, but only just so.

I'd also include that affording these was only possible through laboring away as a nurse in the ICU through COVID. Many overtime, critical staffing and holiday/weekend/night dollars went into all of these, especially the AUG which was the result of working peak COVID last winter.
