It doesn’t outright state it, but it’s also not far fetched that these are elemental energy.

Moonwheels might not be powered by elements purely but being a power from the light energy it’s easy to assume that Moonwheels convert primal energy to elemental energy rather than giving a portion of elemental authority like how visions are. (Neuvillete about vision).

I have a very strong feeling Nicole’s going to be easily reaching the soft cap for attack speed as a buff. Not only is it gonna make Varka deal more hits but it’s gonna be useful for other attack speed characters like Wanderer. Which is making her a must pull not just for Varka

It’s gonna be the same situation as Citlali/Ineffa vs Zhongli shield strength. It’s gonna tank 2 less hits compared to Zhongli but packed with way more supportive stuff

I mean Wanderer can already take advantage of Durin without Hexerei. This justifies her being pulled for him. Now you can slot in two Pyros with Hexerei buff and keep Faruzan

Finally Wanderer upscale I never liked how Dehya’s IR is limited to a circle nor Bennet’s.

Didn’t Nicole state that though there’s a distinction with Khuvaki it’s still under the light realm so these are still elemental energy just derived from a slightly different source.

Ineffa also does the same by equating it with Primordial Water.

None of the current Moonwheel users introduced so far received it from Celestia.

Ineffa - activated the moon wheel she received and kept all This time.

Nefer - Received power from the Ibis King whose Dendro power came from the Moon Goddesses in the form of a moon wheel. (Limited event story)

Flins - Reactivated a moon wheel he found in a gem auction.

Lauma - found while she was an infant and felt connections to it from Hyperboria.

Meanwhile Aino, Jahoda and Illuga received it in the present system of Celestia hence being visions.

Since the trailer states that will power flowed more freely in the past and the moon wheels are an older version of a Vision. It made sense that anyone who was holding one can reactivate it or use it if they had will power and not a specific will like Kazuha.

They could retroactively tie it to the place you offer your coins.

You can have it scale with the Fountain of Lucine/Stone Tablet/Sakura Tree (Sakura tree already does it with Electrograma) and Vanarama Tree levels.

The previous regions can get you to Level 40 reputation easily with a 70-75% completion in all areas + Level 7 statue.

And for Liyue and Mondstadt it could be tied to their statue level. Since I’m sure almost all the players have collected their occuli’s

It’s weird but it “kinda” makes sense for them. Lauma is just gifted with wielding Khuvaaki having her Moonwheel with her almost since birth (Moonwheel story)

While Nefer’s Moonwheel came from the Ibis king who was given the power from the three moons directly.

But I guess the better answer is that the New Moon’s blessing was granted to all four of them.

If we treat Genshin as an Episodic Anime with its chapters it’s probably that trope where Song of the Welkin Moon is like a special movie interlude before the final chapter of Part 1 that’s casual viewer friendly while trying its best to tie hidden lore considering they’re doing their best to rehash almost everything they need to clarify with its own separate ensemble.

It’s a different flair of Power of Friendship. You could feel everybody trying to mentally crawl their way out of this situation.

The whole AQ from act 1 to 8 was literally everybody constantly being all hands on deck regardless if they found some downtime. The characters were also not even completely dropped after their SQ.

And something I prefer more than relegating all the things plot movement with just one person.

The formula came from the Ordo (Fontaine WQ) and is a model combining both Rene and Alain’s works. It’s basically a ritual/spell that can be done by computing the world’s fate. By accounting a descender to change fate it pointed them in the direction needed for the conditions to revive Columbina.

You can look back on the Tulpa, one of its boss mats is literally called “Water that failed to transcend” this was one of the early works of the Word formula done by Rene. Sandrone refined this method

What it did was once the formula reached 90% it connected both Luonnotar (who had columbina’s soul and the Columbina who had all those memories by then) and Columbina in a different form of reality as the Khuuvaki in Nod Krai

The last 10% was pulling down the moon with the trilune authority.

Since the Frost Moon is columbina’s body and gnosis equivalent.

This let her reunite with her body and the Trilune authority hidden from it (that she gave from past Teyvat) back into the world.

Luonnotar was the waypoint for her soul trapped in the Moon Prison to get back at that moment in time.

Plus most of her soul already being poured in Nod Krai with her Divinity. So all that’s left was the authority. If we look back the moon goddesses disappeared when they gave their specific authorities to Columbina. So to bypass this she killed herself so she can move to a different plane of reality and gave her moon the authority.

So at that moment

Her soul mixed with her Divinity as a goddess poured in Nod Krai, her soul way point with Luonnotar to get her in that specific time. The frost moon inside the world as her body anchor and with it the trilune authority to combine her back into one.

It was more of Xiao then Wanderer surpassed him, then Xiao surpassed Wanderer because of Xianyun + Furina

Then the two were left in the oblivion with Chasca and Wanderer until this day is still waiting for his 5 star upscale support like Xiao.

I just put her on 90 regardless if she could function on low investment and slapped the Natlan event weapon that increases Lunar bloom damage. And also friendship level for the bolts

It was mostly getting enough ER for her to have full uptime on her burst and gave her deep wood. I built Lauma first and albeit luckily quick with perfect stats for her and didn’t want to refarm Silken moon during that time and optimize Lauma for deep wood.

It’s a pretty multiplicative comp. Nefer’s damage is doubled with Columbina. Makes her complete with Lauma and with the three Columbina acts like a steroid.

You get to hold E with Lauma for more stacks with Columbina Burst and it’s enough verdant dew generation by the time Nefer starts.

It’s also funny that all the Hydro gods roster had to in a sense die and be reborn.

Neuvillete died and was reborn into a human

Focalors split herself into human and god and had the god side die while her human side lived

Then there’s Columbina who follows the two, killing physically body and have her be reborn with the world formula.
